Benetti announces the sale of the third Motopanfilo 45M unit

Benetti has sold the third Motopanfilo 45M, a steel-and-aluminium yacht with a blue hull, scheduled for delivery in late 2028.

Benetti announces the sale of the third Motopanfilo 45M, brokered in collaboration with Kora Marine. Featuring a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, the yacht will be the first in the Motopanfilo 45M family to feature a blue hull, a choice that further enhances its timeless character. The owner, a renowned Italian entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for the sea and extensive yachting experience, envisioned his new yacht as a highly customized project. The interior design, by Valentina Zannier, was developed in close collaboration with the owner’s wife, who brought her own sensibility and experience in interior design to the project. The customization of the outdoor areas also grew out of this partnership, completing a yacht that fully reflects its owners’ style.  Delivery is scheduled for late 2028.

The Motopanfilo 45M is a contemporary reinterpretation of Benetti’s iconic Motopanfilo yachts from the 1960s, yachts that helped shape an era with their balanced proportions, elegance and distinctive nautical identity. The exterior lines, designed by British studio RWD, translate this heritage into a contemporary design language while retaining some of the defining features of the Motopanfilo tradition. Developed by the Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Department, the naval architecture is designed to deliver efficiency, comfort and outstanding long-range cruising capabilities. The low, sleek profile and distinctive slanted windows draw on the original Motopanfilo tradition and are reinterpreted through clean, harmonious lines, flush detailing and expansive glazed surfaces. Along the hull, rectangular windows alternate with classic round portholes, while the full-beam superstructure creates generous interior volumes filled with natural light.

A defining feature of the project is the Veranda Deck®, an innovative reinterpretation of the traditional main deck saloon. By incorporating the side walkways, Benetti has expanded the space to create a wide-body environment that opens fully on three sides, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces. The result is a true veranda overlooking the sea, where physical barriers disappear and guests experience an uninterrupted connection with their surroundings. The deck thus becomes the heart of life on board, visually extending towards the infinity pool and the aft beach area, in constant dialogue with the sea.

With an overall length of 44,55 metres and a maximum beam of 9.10 metres, Motopanfilo 45M accommodates up to ten guests in five cabins, including an owner’s suite spanning over 60 square metres. Nine crew members are accommodated in five cabins. The yacht reaches a top speed of 15 knots and offers a range of 4,100 nautical miles at 10 knots, underscoring its long-range cruising capabilities. The first unit in the Motopanfilo 45M family is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2027.
