The 45-metre all-aluminum M/Y Gemini features exterior design by Fulvio De Simoni Studio and interiors by The Touch Studio.
Nolimits Yachts, a brand of Rossinavi, announces the unveiling of M/Y Gemini, a 45-metre yacht constructed entirely in aluminum and conceived to combine long-range capability, performance and efficiency with generous spaces and a contemporary approach to life at sea. Following her first season cruising in the Mediterranean, M/Y Gemini is now preparing for her journey to the United States, marking a new chapter for the first completed yacht by Nolimits Yachts. Her full-aluminum construction enhances performance, autonomy and fuel efficiency while delivering the strength and reliability required for extended cruising. Conceived for owners seeking to travel further without compromising comfort or style, M/Y Gemini combines a distinctive exterior identity with generous onboard spaces and warm, welcoming interiors. The project also benefited from the involvement of Italian Yacht Group, whose contribution helped facilitate a productive and collaborative relationship between the shipyard and the owner throughout the yacht’s development.
“M/Y Gemini represents the first expression of Rossinavi’s PRO vision for yachts under 500 GT, brought to life through the Nolimits Yachts brand. It marks an important step in extending Rossinavi’s engineering philosophy to this segment of the market,” says Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi.
Among the key features of M/Y GEMINI, reflecting the distinctive engineering philosophy of Nolimits Yachts, are:
- Full-aluminum construction, combining a lightweight structure with strength, corrosion resistance and durability. Together with the yacht’s full-displacement hull and shallow draft, the aluminum construction contributes to enhanced performance, autonomy and fuel efficiency while providing access to low-depth cruising grounds.
- Long-range capability, with a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots and generous fuel reserves conceived for extended voyages and transoceanic cruising. The yacht is certified for unrestricted passage through both the Panama and Suez Canals.
- Twin Caterpillar C32 engines, delivering a top speed of 15 knots, supported by heavy-duty generators engineered for endurance and reliability and a global service network.
- Redundant technical systems, including two independent rudders with integrated thrust bearings, designed to reduce workload and enhance steering stability while allowing safe navigation even when operating with a single rudder.
- A dual stabilization system with four fins, designed to minimize roll and enhance comfort both at anchor and underway.
- Zero Noise technology, conceived to dramatically reduce onboard noise and vibration for an exceptionally quiet cruising experience.
- The Tropicalization System, providing redundancy across key onboard systems, with air-conditioning chillers engineered to operate at 150% capacity.
- Two independent high-capacity desalinators, producing up to 78% more fresh water than standard systems and supporting the yacht’s autonomy during extended cruising.
The layout of M/Y Gemini is conceived to balance generous outdoor living spaces, welcoming interiors and private accommodation across four decks, creating a natural connection between life on board and the surrounding sea. On the lower deck, the stern opens onto a spacious beach club, conceived as an extension of the yacht towards the water. A transformer platform extends to sea level, providing direct access for swimming, water sports and boarding. Two side stairways connect the beach club to the main deck cockpit above. Moving forward, a dedicated gym is complemented by a day head, followed by the guest accommodation comprising four cabins — three doubles and one twin. The crew quarters are located further forward, separately from the guest areas. The main deck begins aft with a spacious cockpit featuring a bar, directly connected to the beach club below and conceived for outdoor relaxation and entertaining. Inside, the main saloon combines a generous lounge area with a formal dining area seating 12 guests, creating a continuous space for socialising and shared moments on board; centrally positioned professional galley, equipped with professional-grade appliances and equipment to efficiently serve the yacht’s main guest areas and support onboard dining. Moving forward, the 45-sqm (484-sqft) Owner’s Suite, which occupies the forward section of the interior and includes a private studio, lounge, vanity area, walk-in wardrobes and separate his-and-hers bathrooms. At the bow, a dedicated toy garage accommodates a tender, a rescue boat and two jet skis.
On the upper deck, the aft exterior area is dedicated to alfresco dining for 10 guests, complemented by a lounge with comfortable sofas overlooking the sea. Inside, the upper saloon offers a more informal social setting with a lounge area and bar, followed by a dedicated pantry. Further forward, the operational spaces include the captain’s quarters and wheelhouse. Ahead of the wheelhouse, the outdoor area features a lounge, sunpads and a spacious pool, creating an open-air retreat with panoramic views towards the horizon, conceived to offer comfort and privacy both at anchor and in port. Above, the 110-sqm (1,184-sqft) sundeck forms the heart of outdoor life on board. Aft, a panoramic lounge with low sofas and coffee tables offers uninterrupted sea views. Moving forward, an alfresco dining area seating 10 guests is positioned beneath the hard top, followed by a generous central lounge with modular sofas, served by a fully equipped American bar. At the bow, large double sunpads provide an elevated setting for relaxation, while a forward glazed screen offers protection without compromising views towards the horizon.
Designed by Fulvio De Simoni Studio, M/Y Gemini combines classical proportions with a few strong, distinctive design elements that define her personality. A carefully considered balance between open spaces and enclosed volumes, together with extensive glazing, enhances the yacht’s livability, natural light, and connection with the sea. The pursuit of elegance and clean forms is expressed most clearly through two defining lines that flow gently along the sides of the upper deck and sundeck. These elements introduce movement and character while emphasizing the otherwise simple, taut lines of the yacht’s profile, creating a distinctive yet timeless exterior identity. Throughout the yacht, the exterior spaces have been conceived to encourage a natural connection with the surrounding environment, balancing openness, privacy, and protection according to their different functions. This approach reflects a design philosophy in which aesthetics and the practical requirements of life at sea are closely integrated. The result is a coherent and purposeful exterior design, where classical proportions and contemporary detailing come together to create a yacht with a timeless character.
“With Gemini, we sought to create a yacht with a distinctive yet timeless identity, combining classical proportions with a few strong design elements. The balance between open spaces and enclosed volumes, together with the extensive glazing, enhances both onboard comfort and the connection with the sea. Every design choice reflects our intention to bring together the practical requirements of life at sea with a clean, elegant aesthetic, creating a yacht that feels both classic and contemporary,” says Fulvio De Simoni, Founder of Fulvio De Simoni Studio.
The Touch Studio has curated the interior design of M/Y Gemini, developing a concept where spatial harmony and human experience coexist seamlessly. From the earliest stages of the project, The Touch Studio set out to move beyond conventional aesthetics, crafting environments conceived as authentic extensions of the owner’s lifestyle. For M/Y Gemini, the central ambition was to create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and family-oriented, shaping a vision of understated luxury where refinement never relies on excess. Rejecting rigid formality, the design transforms the yacht into a welcoming sanctuary dedicated to shared experiences and genuine connection. This philosophy informed the selection of a luminous palette of natural materials and soft tones, enhancing the perception of space while drawing the surrounding seascape indoors.
“We believe true design exists in the unspoken dialogue between a space and those who inhabit it,” says Veronica Vergari, co-founder of The Touch Studio. “When approaching a new project, we do not simply design interiors; we imagine the choreography of life at sea. For us, luxury is defined by atmosphere — creating spaces balanced in proportion, emotionally resonant, and capable of evoking an immediate sense of connection. It is about translating a client’s unspoken desires into a tangible narrative, where every architectural gesture and bespoke detail speaks the same poetic language.”
Against this serene backdrop, the studio introduced a distinct layer of identity through a curated collection of art pieces. Working in close collaboration with the client, the designers incorporated deliberate colour accents and textural contrasts to infuse the interiors with energy and personality. These vibrant interventions rest upon a calm and balanced foundation, giving M/Y Gemini a unique character without compromising its inherent sense of tranquillity. With M/Y Gemini, Nolimits Yachts reaffirms its vision: to create yachts that combine performance, style, and freedom — without compromise.
