From 17 to 19 November in Amsterdam, the brand is presenting Raffaello Pro anti-fouling and the new AdherpoxPRO primer & tie coat .
Veneziani Yachting, the Gruppo Boero brand which has been producing high-quality coating solutions for the DIY boating and racing world for over 150 years, returns to METS, held this year from 17–19 November 2026 at RAI Amsterdam, with a selection of products designed to protect and maintain boats. The focus of the brand’s participation in the event is its Protect Your Passion philosophy, which explores the connection between Veneziani’s expertise in hull care and the passion of people who live and breathe the sea every day. This vision is also reflected in the brand’s support for the PoliMi Sailing Team – the university project supported by the brand on its journey of research, innovation and experimentation in the world of sailing. Protect Your Passion is not only about protecting boats, but also about nurturing the passion that drives people to take to the water. This commitment extends to supporting the next generation of sailors, designers and engineers through projects such as the PoliMi Sailing Team, helping young talent turn ideas into innovation and passion into experience.
Specialising from the outset in the development of products and painting systems for the yachting industry, Veneziani Yachting offers its expertise in materials and processes to shipyards, application professionals and boat owners. Protecting a hull requires action on multiple fronts, from surface preparation and corrosion prevention to antifouling protection, selecting products suited to the different materials involved and the specific conditions of use. This work requires expertise, attention to detail and the ongoing pursuit of solutions that are ever more effective and easy to apply.
AdherpoxPRO is the stand-out product presented by the brand in Amsterdam, with its new formulation of this multi-purpose two-component epoxy primer, improved to deliver even more versatility and ease of application in a variety of environmental conditions. Characterised by excellent adhesion to various materials, including light alloys, it can be used both above and below the waterline, as an anti-corrosion barrier when applied in multiple coats and as a bonding coat with Veneziani Yachting antifouling coatings.
One of the companion product to AdherpoxPRO, Raffaello Pro is the hydrophilic, self-polishing, anti-fouling coating, formulated with copper compounds and pure carbon particles, which combines antifouling protection with low hull drag. Suitable for sailing boats and medium-speed vessels, it is effective in warm, temperate and mixed waters. With its controlled solubility, the coating wears away gradually during use, limiting the build-up of thickness over time. Politecnico di Milano’s (PoliMi) Sailing Team, which works on the design and construction of high-performance sailing boats, will also be attending METS. Veneziani Yachting supported the team throughout the construction of Altea 2.0, providing both products and technical expertise. The project – winner of the SuMoth Challenge 2026 on Lake Garda – demonstrates the value of collaboration between academia and the yachting industry.
