The 16th Catamarans Cup International Regatta returns from on 24 to 31 October, uniting 280+ sailors from 15+ countries for a week of racing.
The Catamarans Cup International Regatta returns from 24 to 31 October 2026 for a week of racing, discovery and shared experiences in Greece. Organized by Istion Yachting, the event begins at Alimos Marina, Athens, on Saturday, 24 October, with arrivals, embarkation and registration. Bringing together 280+ sailors from more than 15 countries, the 16th edition combines competitive sailing with Greek hospitality and community spirit.
Four racing legs take the fleet through the Saronic and Argolic gulfs: from Alimos to Poros, to a “Surprise Bay” (that will be announced shortly before the start), to Paralio Astros and Nafplion, where racing concludes on Wednesday, 28 October.
Rubirosa Events in Alimos hosts the opening ceremony, crew presentations, welcome dinner and Best Crew Style Competition. Cook-Off! follows at the Syggros Building in Poros, while a magical night under the stars awaits the crews in a surprise destination of the second leg. Paralio Astros welcomes crews for an outdoor BBQ and Show-Off! Competition at the lawn pier, and Nafplion hosts the farewell dinner, final prize awards and Shoot Off! Competition on the pier in front of the catamarans. A free sailing day follows on 29 October, before returning to Alimos on 30 October.

Under the aegis of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the municipalities of Poros, Ermionida, N. Kynouria and Nafplion, the event continues to highlight Greece’s appeal as an international sailing destination beyond the summer season.
