The first yacht in the British yard’s renewed Superyacht Range is now being fitted out ahead of a 2027 delivery.
The first Sunseeker 134 has entered the final stage of construction. The 40.5-metre yacht will now undergo outfitting, including the integration of onboard systems and technology and the installation of bespoke cabinetry, customised interiors and hand-crafted detailing. She will also be fully painted. The yard has revealed that her owner has chosen a bespoke “Extreme Black” finish, which will give the superyacht a striking and unmistakable presence on the water. The sale of hull one was announced at boot Düsseldorf in January. She is the third Sunseeker yacht commissioned by the same West Coast American owner, and her delivery is scheduled for 2027.
A new chapter for Sunseeker superyachts
The Sunseeker 134 is the first model from the shipyard’s renewed Superyacht Range. It was unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival as a “bold step forward” for the brand’s reimagined superyacht portfolio. Her design is marked by elongated lines, reflective hull window graphics and a redesigned forward window arrangement with reverse-angle glazing, which gives her a contemporary identity. Announcing the sale in January, Sunseeker’s long-serving chief design officer Ewen Douglas Foster described the yacht as “a statement of quiet power and uncompromising elegance”. He said her commanding silhouette and confident presence on the water conceal a refined world of comfort, convenience and sophisticated style.
Outdoor living and interior freedom
Exterior living spaces have been enhanced across the aft cockpit, upper deck and flybridge. Owners can choose customisable layouts and optional features including a spa tub, an extended hardtop and a flybridge helm station. At water level, a “significantly extended” beach club and swim platform add to the yacht’s social spaces and strengthen her connection to the sea. Inside, the interior has been developed in collaboration with Design Unlimited, giving owners complete creative freedom to specify materials, finishes and details.
Current renders show a warm, neutral palette, with natural light flooding in through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. Accommodation comprises a forward main-deck master suite and four guest cabins, sleeping up to 12 guests. A further nine crew members are accommodated in dedicated quarters.
Performance and specifications
Twin MTU engines power the yacht. They are expected to deliver a top speed of up to 20 knots and a range of more than 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. Advanced engineering and upgraded stabilisation systems are intended to ensure quiet, capable cruising. The 134 has a beam of 7.9 metres and a draught of 2.4 metres.
