The 35th Monaco Yacht Show closed at Port Hercule with 118 superyachts, 560 exhibitors and 30,678 visitors over four days.
With 118 superyachts (50 of them delivered this year), 560 exhibitors and six sustainable solutions recognised, the 35th edition gave clients four days of access to the kind of yachts a new commission at a leading yard would not deliver before 2028. From 23 to 26 September 2026, the 35th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) brought the superyacht industry together at Port Hercule. Held under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, who led the official visit, the show welcomed 30,678 visitors.
According to a Deloitte study for SYBAss and the Superyacht Life Foundation, the superyacht industry generates €54 billion a year , from construction and maintenance to yacht management and tourism. 560 exhibitors representing that entire chain (shipyards, designers, naval architects, equipment suppliers, brokers and specialist service providers) gathered at Port Hercule. The yachts on display were its most visible part: 118 superyachts with an estimated value of €4.5 billion , 50 of them delivered in 2026 , with an average length of 47.50 metres. BOAT International’s Global Order Book 2026 shows the number of projects under construction falling for a second consecutive year, at record average length and tonnage, with build slots at leading yards committed until 2028–2029. At the head of the fleet, Leviathan (Oceanco, 111m), delivered at the end of 2025, made her Monaco debut, berthed alongside Draak (Oceanco, 93m), comprehensively rebuilt in 2026 to support her on Inkfish’s scientific expeditions. Lürssen presented Nixie (102.4m) as a world premiere, the largest 2026 delivery on display.
Turquoise Yachts unveiled Angelique (88m), the largest yacht ever built in Turkey by volume. Other premieres included Pangea (Amels, 80m), the first Amels 80 to be presented at a show; Silver Fox (Sanlorenzo, 73.4m), the yard’s largest yacht to date; Sea Raider X (ISA Yachts, 66.4m); Baglietto’s first T60 (60.6m); and Sairu , the Riva 54 Metri and the largest Riva ever built. Alongside the new deliveries, brokerage and charter houses presented a significant share of the fleet, in a market where sales exceeded €4 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with €3.61 billion a year earlier (BOATPro). Exhibitors invited 13,368 private guests (owners, prospective clients and the advisers and representatives who act for them). In addition, MYS actively attracted new clients of its own: its teams pre-qualified 648 visitors with a yacht project , each of whom received an invitation, an MYS VIP Guest Pass or a place in the Prestige VIP Programme. The Prestige VIP Programme accompanied 56 clients from around the world and organised 85 yacht visits.
“My first Monaco Yacht Show at the helm confirmed what this event has to be: a marketplace for yacht projects, not a parade,” said Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige. “All week, exhibitors spoke of a strong show, good quality conversations and serious buyers. Some come to step aboard a yacht for the first time or to see what is available for charter or purchase; others return for a final visit after months of preparation, and to seal their purchase in Monaco. Wherever they stand in that journey, the show is part of the sale. Our role remains to connect them with the right exhibitors, and every client, exhibitor and partner should hold us accountable for it.”
New for 2026, the Designer Gallery replaced the former Yacht Design & Innovation Hub with a continuous platform in the Dockside Area, partly set on the rocks of the harbour. It brought together fourteen design and naval architecture studios, including Espen Oeino International, Frers Design, Philippe Briand, Pininfarina and VPLP Design.Alongside it, the MYS Immersive Experience by VBH allowed visitors to explore yacht projects in 3D. Created by MYS and BOAT International, the BOAT Lounge at the Monaco Yacht Show hosted daily BOAT Radio broadcasts, interviews, panel discussions and networking sessions. The Adventure Area, meanwhile, extended across three quays, including a new one near the Quai Antoine Ier entrance, with 72 tenders and the Top Marques Monaco Pavilion , dedicated to hypercars and luxury cars and created in partnership with the Top Marques Monaco show.
For the second edition of the Blue Wake™ Awards, an expert jury selected five category winners from the 60 solutions validated by Water Revolution Foundation through independent assessment. Toby Moore presented the trophies on 23 September in the BOAT Lounge, alongside Leah Werner, Executive Director of the foundation. The winners were Tykun (Tenders/Water Toys), Bespoke Projects (Luxury Services & Products), Termodinamica (Nautical Supplier), Amico & Co (New Build/Refit Shipyard) and Marina Ibiza (Yacht Services/Brokerage/Charter). The Blue Wake Special Prize for a Yacht went to Simena (Ares Yachts, 62m), the largest sailing yacht in the fleet, which pairs a ketch rig with hybrid propulsion. During his official visit, Prince Albert II received the show’s annual donation to the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation : €55,000 this year, continuing a partnership that began in 2010. Toby Moore and Stephen Carter, CEO of Informa Group, presented the cheque on board Dagger , Benetti’s hybrid B.Now 67M, which on this occasion joined the fleet certified under the SEA Index®, the Yacht Club de Monaco’s standard for assessing and comparing yachts’ CO₂ emissions.
Looking ahead to 2027 Refit also had its place on the quays: 15 of the yachts on display had been refitted in the last three years. With few build slots available in the near term at leading yards, many owners are choosing to upgrade their yachts rather than wait for a new build. This market, estimated at between $3 billion and $5 billion a year and growing by 6 to 9 per cent annually, will have its own event in Monaco from next spring. Informa Prestige will launch The Future of Refit , the first event dedicated exclusively to superyacht refit and maintenance, at the Grimaldi Forum from 31 March to 2 April 2027, with an on-water display in the marina of the Yacht Club de Monaco. The show also hosted, in the presence of Prince Albert II, the signing of the agreement between Tahaluf and Sela to deliver the Red Sea Yacht Show . Powered by the Monaco Yacht Show and supported by BOAT International, the new show will hold its first edition at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from 14 to 17 October 2027. The 36th Monaco Yacht Show will take place at Port Hercule from 22 to 25 September 2027.
