The first Custom Line Saetta 128′ has been launched in Ancona, a bespoke 39.8-metre trideck yacht with a sky lounge, beach club and three units already sold.
On 30 September 2026, at the Ferretti Group’s Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy, the first Custom Line Saetta 128′ touched the sea for the first time. The launch was attended by the team behind the project and by the architects who shaped it. Buyers have already responded: three units of the model have been sold.
At 39.80 metres overall with a maximum beam of 7.69 metres, the 128′ extends the Saetta range, Custom Line’s collection of planing yachts. It stays under the 300 GT threshold, which will appeal to owners who want generous volume without moving into the next size category. The yacht was built entirely in Ancona and is conceived as a bespoke project, with ample room to tailor it to the owner’s wishes.
The exterior is the work of Matteo Sassone and Veronica Yien of SY Design, who are collaborating with Custom Line for the first time. The profile is energetic and the stern makes a confident statement. Large glass surfaces with a printed finish lighten the superstructure and open up views of the surroundings, so the yacht looks both sporty and refined. Chiara Massarani of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel led the interior architecture, with Custom Line Atelier helping to define the style and develop the made-to-measure details. Rounded forms and furniture that appears to hover above the floor echo the flowing lines of the hull, while floor-to-ceiling glazing brings daylight and the sea into the living spaces.
The first yacht features the interior concept called “Perfect Mood”. Its palette combines lacquered surfaces in chocolate and mocha shades, walnut and maple woods, white Sivec marble and ivory wall coverings with a three-dimensional texture. The result is a warm, carefully finished environment.
The layout unfolds across three decks. On the main deck, a 33 m² aft deck leads into the 40 m² main saloon, which includes the dining area. The owner’s suite sits forward, with a separate dressing area and private bathroom, and its large windows connect it visually with the water. On the upper deck, the signature feature of the yacht is the sky lounge of about 20 m², which opens onto a 40 m² aft terrace. Forward, a 25 m² area with a U-shaped sofa and sunbathing space can optionally be fitted with a wellness area including a hydro-massage tub. The 30 m² sundeck is made for relaxing in the open air, with sun loungers and freestanding furniture that can be arranged to suit. Below, four cabins, three VIP and one guest, accommodate ten guests in total, or eleven with the addition of a pullman berth. Quarters for six crew members, including the captain, are located forward, and the layout preserves privacy and practicality for guests and crew alike. A beach club at the stern brings those on board closer to the water.
Propulsion comes from two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each producing 2,638 hp. According to preliminary figures, the yacht reaches a top speed of 22 knots and cruises at 19 knots. The yacht can also be certified to IMO Tier III standards through a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, which cuts nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 70%. This option reflects the Ferretti Group’s stated commitment to environmental responsibility.
