TUDOR introduces the Black Bay 58 GMT, blending vintage aviation style, 39mm proportions, and Master Chronometer certified precision.
TUDOR has officially introduced the Black Bay 58 GMT, bringing a dual-time complication to the model’s signature 39mm stainless steel case. Evoking an era when jet-setting across time zones was matched by glamorous style, the watch pairs vintage-inspired design elements with contemporary technical standards. The 39mm case maintains a slimmer profile than the brand’s traditional 41mm GMT models, incorporating a redesigned crown reminiscent of historical technical watches that sits flush against the middle case band to conceal the tube. Surrounding the softly radial-brushed satin black dial which offers a subtle shine under direct light is a bidirectional rotatable bezel with very prehensible sides and a two-tone burgundy and black insert featuring gilt accents and subtly curved 24-hour numerals. The dial layout includes TUDOR’s signature “lollipop” seconds hand, recalling the look of the brand’s early diving watches.
Powering the timepiece is the automatic Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U, which features an integrated dual-time zone function and offers a 65-hour power reserve. The movement holds dual precision certifications, meeting both official COSC requirements and METAS Master Chronometer standards for magnetic resistance, precision, and operational performance. The Black Bay 58 GMT is offered with three strap configurations: a 3-link stainless steel bracelet, a 5-link stainless steel bracelet, or a rubber strap. Each option comes equipped with TUDOR’s proprietary “T-fit” rapid-adjustment clasp system to allow micro-adjustments on the wrist, making the watch more comfortable than ever.
