MEDYS 2025: A few words from the President

As we set our course for the 10th Mediterranean Yacht Show, scheduled to take place from May 3rd to 7th, 2025, in the port of Nafplio, it seems a fitting time to reflect on how far we have come and why we have become the world’s largest crewed yacht charter show but also one of the most loved.

What transformed our ambition into reality was persistence. Our relentless drive and unwavering commitment to keep moving forward, no matter the challenges we face, are what established us as a benchmark event that brings together a stellar fleet, a highly qualified international audience, and an esteemed network of exhibitors and sponsors.

This year, the MEDYS is poised to set new records with 114 yachts already registered and vying for the 94 berths that are available in the port of Nafplio. The impressive waiting list, that has become an annual occurrence, speaks volumes both about the show’s prestige and Greece’s growing influence in the international charter market. If we factor in the hundreds of top-tier charter professionals, that arrive from all corners of the globe to experience Greek excellence first-hand, we certainly have measurable success.

MEDYS 2025: A few words from the President

“This year, the MEDYS is poised to set new records with 114 yachts already registered and vying for the 94 berths that are available in the port of Nafplio”

The MEDYS, however, is much more than numbers. It is where the heart of the global yachting industry beats in May and is fondly referred to as THE SHOW by many of our attendees.

rich yachting heritage meets cutting-edge innovation, new connections are forged, and existing ones strengthened, with our legendary Greek hospitality and the picturesque town of Nafplio setting the tone for an experience that is as pleasurable as it is productive.

Yacht viewings are always on the top of the agenda but, when the day is done, there are endless networking opportunities to take advantage of such as the gala opening event, by-invitation yacht parties, impromptu gatherings hosted by exhibitors, and al fresco dinners that are ideal for catching up with friends and the latest industry news. These moments are very much a part of the MEDYS and complete its unique offering.

On behalf of the Greek Yachting Association, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the attending yachts and their crewsponsorsexhibitorspress, and the local community, who all contribute to the success of the MEDYS. Your support fuels our momentum and drives this event to greater heights with each passing year.
