From the start of the 37th America’s Cup on 22nd August until its conclusion in October, Marina Port Vell will be providing a series of exclusive activities and experiences for visitors to its facilities.
Among the most notable, visitors will be able to enjoy an exceptional dining experience in the elegant and sophisticated setting of The Sea Garden restaurant.
It will be opening exclusively during the regatta months, offering a unique opportunity to sample its cuisine while enjoying unparalleled views of the city from its terraces.
Under the direction of renowned chef Alex Palomo, who boasts over ten years’ experience in prestigious restaurants both nationally and internationally, The Sea Garden has a Mediterranean-inspired menu designed for the most discerning palates. Sailing enthusiasts will also be able to follow the races on a large screen while enjoying the cuisine and maritime surroundings.
Additionally, the Blue Wave, recognised at the FX International Design Awards, is also part of Marina Port Vell’s offer. This bar provides a wide variety of cocktails, a selection of cold tapas, and a carefully curated DJ programme, creating a unique atmosphere for visitors.
Marina Port Vell is supplementing its culinary offer during the America’s Cup with two standout spaces: the Möet & Chandon Terrace, serving oysters and champagne with sea views, and the Estrella Damm Lounge, a Mediterranean-style beer bar with a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Both establishments have been created specifically for the event, offering a distinguished and exceptional experience to visitors of the marina.
Under the slogan The Superyacht Marina Experience: The Most Exclusive Atmosphere, Marina Port Vell is also offering unique proposals throughout the competition months.
Among these are exclusive boutiques from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Maui Jim, as well as the Gloria Diagonal project by Conren Tramway, and the car brand INEOS Grenadier. Additionally, at its own boutique, the marina is offering official America’s Cup merchandise and a premium collection for men and women created in collaboration with Santa Eulalia, the iconic luxury multi-brand store on Passeig de Gràcia.
Another of the unique experiences offered by the marina is the ‘VIP On Board Experience’, giving guests the chance to enjoy the competition aboard the elegant Wajer 38 and Wajer 55 from the prestigious Wajer Yachts, with a capacity for twelve people. Additionally, Marina Port Vell has created two exclusive VIP areas where guests can enjoy unmatched views and an exquisite cuisine.
Running parallel to the competition, Marina Port Vell, designated the “Preferred Superyacht Marina” for the 37th America’s Cup, has completed its repositioning project, initiated in 2021. With an investment of €20 million, the plan has enhanced both the capacity of its infrastructure and the quality of its services for large yachts.
