Pearl Yachts’ new 30m flagship has completed her initial sea trials ahead of her world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The first Pearl 100 Hybrid has left the shipyard and completed her initial sea trials ahead of her scheduled world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which takes place from 28 October to 1 November 2026. This was the first time the raised-pilothouse flagship had taken to the water as a complete yacht. She is the largest Pearl to date and the first model in the fleet to feature hybrid propulsion. Her twin-shaft e-Motion hybrid system pairs two MAN V12 2,000 hp diesel engines with two radial-flux permanent-magnet electric motors. The installation supports several operating modes, including silent electric cruising and extended range. The associated Power Pack is also designed to support the yacht’s hotel loads without generator use.
The yacht has five en-suite guest cabins, including two principal suites: the full-beam owner’s suite is on the main deck and opens directly on to a private foredeck terrace, while the second full-beam suite is amidships on the lower deck. A forward double suite and two twin cabins complete the guest accommodation, with separate quarters for four or five crew. Dixon Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior styling, layout and naval architecture, including fold-out wings that extend the aft cockpit towards the water and a passage that links the extended flybridge directly with the foredeck. Kelly Hoppen’s new Monochrome interior design scheme features on the Pearl 100 Hybrid. As with all Pearl yachts, owners can also choose from Kelly Hoppen’s signature Indulgence, Luxury and Modern interior styles, offering a range of distinct characters and finishes.
Iain Smallridge, founder and managing director of Pearl Yachts, said: “These trials were the first opportunity to operate the Pearl 100 Hybrid as a complete yacht, bringing together the work of our design, engineering and production teams on the water. We shall now use what we have learnt as we prepare her for her world debut in Fort Lauderdale.”
The Pearl 100 Hybrid will make her official world debut at the 67th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where Pearl Yachts will present further details of the new flagship.
