Azimut returns to the Genoa Boat Show with four models making their Italian debut

Azimut presents four new models in their Italian premiere at the Genoa Boat Show, showcasing a fleet of 12 vessels.

Azimut returns to the Genoa International Boat Show, exhibiting four new models in Italy for the first time that express the brand’s diverse identities. From October 1 to 6, 2026, a fleet of 12 models in the water will showcase the breadth of Azimut’s collections, ranging from the Fly models and the Magellano and Seadeck families to the Grande Series.

FLY 70: THE EVOLUTION OF THE CONTEMPORARY FLYBRIDGE

With the Italian premiere of the Fly 70, Azimut enriches its presence at the Genoa Boat Show, showcasing the expressive maturity of the flybridge, a segment that Azimut has placed at the heart of the yachting scenery – establishing its global success – and which continues to evolve while staying true to its original vocation: marrying the sporty character of the exteriors with sophisticated interior architecture to shape today’s demands. The Fly 70, more than ever, embodies the yacht as a space for gathering, quality time, and connection with the sea. It is precisely by responding to these contemporary values that Azimut’s Flybridge series reaffirms its position as a benchmark for the sector. Shaping the new generation is an exceptional design duo: Alberto Mancini for the exteriors and Fabio Fantolino for the interiors, having previously collaborated on the acclaimed Fly 62, Fly 72, and Fly 82 models.

SEADECK 9: THE TIME WE CHOOSE TO LIVE

If writing about music is like dancing about architecture, describing the Seadeck 9 — the new model in Azimut’s milestone Seadeck Series — is like trying to capture the ocean itself. An impossible challenge to which Azimut responded by creating its most open vessel: if you cannot contain the sea, you become part of it.  This 26-meter yacht elevates the classic outdoor-indoor into an immersive deck that fully melds with nature, embracing the sea’s very elements: light, sun, and water, reflected in the shimmering aft plunge pool. Picturing this area vibrant with adult chatter and children’s splashes, one realizes how the Seadeck elevates wellness into wholeness, experience into life itself.

MAGELLANO 27M: THE CROSSOVER OF THE SEAS

The Magellano 27M opens the third chapter of a story that began in the early 2000s thanks to the vision of Paolo and Giovanna Vitelli. They were the first with the courage to unite two worlds—the sense of freedom of the American trawler and the elegance of Italian design—creating an entirely new category: the crossover of the seas. Today, this new model marks the arrival of the third generation of the Magellano Series, combining Nordic design by Jarkko Jämsén with the fine Italian architecture of Michele De Lucchi and AMDL Circle. Magellano is thus a synthesis of opposites, expressed as much by a design that elegantly envelops generous volumes conceived for long-range cruising as by the technology of the first Dual Mode hull. Featuring a vertical bow and a double-chine hull design, this high-efficiency hull—a hybrid bridging displacement and planing modes—reduces fuel consumption and softens the impact on waves compared to traditional hulls. It is an innovation designed to offer the pleasure of cruising at one’s own pace, from speed to tranquility, while retaining the freedom to head out to sea even in the most challenging conditions.

GRANDE 44M: THE FLAGSHIP OF AZIMUT FLEET

The debut of the first Grande 44M confirms the success of the strategy that has led Azimut to achieve leadership in the superyacht segment over the years. Today, over two-thirds of the brand’s production value is represented by models over 24 meters, a testament to a corporate vision rewarded by the market and the trust of owners. The expansion of the range culminates in the new Grande 44M, which debuts in the water with seven units already sold to owners. The new flagship marks the final leg of Azimut’s journey to define the contemporary superyacht, combining the evolution of its design language—created by international design excellence—with continuous technological innovation.

The use of carbon fiber, which accounts for more than 50% of the vessel’s surfaces, is the cornerstone of the project: reducing the overall weight of the superstructure allows for an unprecedented four-deck architecture that breaks with the traditional layout. The fourth deck, which houses the wheelhouse and is perfectly integrated into the sleek profile designed by Alberto Mancini, frees the Upper Deck of all technical spaces, transforming it into an entire deck dedicated to the owner with private terraces overlooking the horizon. Here, in the bow area, a Skylounge features enormous windows that break down visual boundaries, opening up a 180° view of the outdoor lounge where guests gather around the firepit to watch the sunset over the water.

At the Genoa Boat Show, Azimut is also exhibiting the Seadeck 7 equipped with the Volvo Penta IPS Hybrid system. This is the first installation resulting from the shared vision of Azimut Yachts and Volvo Penta for an increasingly conscious yachting experience, capable of redefining life on board through hybrid propulsion and silent mooring features.  As the only yacht at the show featuring this innovative propulsion solution, the Seadeck 7 offers four operating modes: Pure Electric for fully electric navigation up to 11 knots; Hybrid Electric to automatically switch from electric to diesel depending on speed and power demand; Hybrid Fuel to deliver greater acceleration; and Crossover for combined operation. Furthermore, in Hotel Mode, the batteries power all onboard services for up to 12 hours in complete silence and with zero CO2 emissions, eliminating the need for a traditional generator.
