Maiora takes centre stage at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show

From 1 to 6 October, the Next Yacht Group brand showcases its increasingly international vision of boutique yachting.

Maiora, the historic brand of Next Yacht Group, takes centre stage once again at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, taking place from 1 to 6 October: an event that brings together the international excellence of the yachting industry in the Ligurian city. The shipyard’s participation comes at the conclusion of a particularly significant season, marked by a series of major developments that clearly outline the Group’s future direction. Among these are the launch of Maiora’s new M Collection and Atelier Collection, the Group’s entry into the 50-metre all-metal superyacht segment, further strengthened by the acquisition of SIMAN, a long-established company specializing in metal fabrication and mechanical engineering for the marine industry. These milestones form part of a growth strategy aimed at preserving the Group’s distinctive identity while continuing to expand its capabilities, with a strong focus on innovation, customization, and in-house engineering expertise.

MAIORA 36 EXUMA: THE FREEDOM TO EXPERIENCE THE SEA

Representing the brand in Genoa is the Maiora 36 Exuma, the evolution of a model that has achieved significant international success and introduced a new interpretation of life at sea. Born from the skillful collaboration between the shipyard and Quartostile, the 36 Exuma interprets the concept of the contemporary yacht through a balance of volume, performance and exploration capabilities. This is the second Maiora 36 Exuma unit, delivered to her owner at the beginning of summer 2026: a high-end yacht that at the same time offers extensive opportunities for customization. With an overall length of 36.90 metres and a draft of just 1.45 metres, the Maiora 36 Exuma is designed to expand the possibilities of experiencing the sea, allowing her to reach bays, anchorages and shallow waters that are normally difficult to access for yachts in this category.

The propulsion system plays a decisive role in the yacht’s sporty character: three 2,000 hp MAN V12 engines are paired with two steerable MJP waterjets and a central MJP booster. This configuration enables a top speed of 33 knots, combining performance, maneuverability and comfort. Completing the Maiora 36 Exuma’s technical profile are gyroscopic stabilisers, operating both at anchor and underway, designed to provide a high level of comfort in a range of operating conditions. The result is a yacht that embodies the Maiora philosophy through a synthesis of exploration, performance and comfort, with an approach to life at sea that prioritises freedom of movement and the opportunity to experience destinations that are normally less accessible to a yacht of this size.

A GROWTH STRATEGY WITH A DISTINCTIVE IDENTITY

Maiora’s presence at the Genoa International Boat Show is part of a broader journey in which Next Yacht Group is progressively expanding its reach while maintaining the distinctive identity of each of its brands. A strategy based on the ability to carefully oversee every project, integrating design, technology, production expertise and customisation. From Maiora’s new M Collection and Atelier Collection, to its entry into the metal superyacht segment and the success of the Exuma Collection, the Group is continuing its international consolidation plan, with the aim of expressing Italian yachting excellence through an increasingly distinctive and comprehensive offering.
