Eighth Mangusta GranSport 33 hits the water

The eighth unit of the Mangusta GranSport 33, the entry level of the Mangusta GranSport line, was launched yesterday in Viareggio.

Cutting-edge design solutions, craftsmanship, and technological innovation blend together on this vessel, developed jointly by designer Alberto Mancini and Ovemarine Group’s technical department. The Mangusta GranSport 33 is a 33-metre yacht that combines speedy cruising up to 25 knots and comfortable onboard spaces even during more challenging voyages.

This craft is equipped with four Volvo Penta D13 735kW (1000 HP) engines coupled with as many IPS pods 1350 drives, resulting in a draught of only 1.9 m (6’2″).

The co-existence of generous interior volumes (228 GT) for the Owner and their guests and equally spacious exteriors are the core features that have made this model so successful both in Europe and in the Americas.

The ‘on-deck‘ master stateroom extends over 40 sq m (435 sq/ft), becoming the widest ever built in this class. The two VIP cabins and two guests cabins located on the lower deck can also boast very generous volumes thanks to the innovative IPS propulsion system, which allows to reduce the engine room size to the benefit of onboard liveability.

As is always the case on every Mangusta project, the entire design and construction process has revolved around the Owner, to interpret his lifestyle and unique way of experiencing life on board his vessel, always ensuring a smooth, free-flowing dialogue between the interiors and exteriors thanks to large side glazed surfaces on both the main and the lower deck.

Another peculiar feature on the Mangusta GranSport 33 is an iconic infinity pool at the stern with fully-integrated sunbathing area. The spacious aft garage fits a large 5.65 m tender, two water-skis, and several water toys, so as to offer guests unparalleled fun and relaxation.

This unit, also delivered to a U.S. Owner, was sold thanks to the cooperation between the Shipyard and Ale Navarro of brokerage house HMY. The next Mangusta GranSport 33 available for sale will be hull number 12, with delivery expected in summer 2025.
