Sanlorenzo unveils SHE at Cannes Yachting Festival

SHE, the unique Sanlorenzo Heritage concept, debuts in Cannes, presenting a contemporary interpretation of Sanlorenzo’s heritage through craftsmanship, design and advanced hybrid technology.

Sanlorenzo today reveals the next chapter of its long-term development at the Cannes Yachting Festival, led by the world premiere of SHE: a unique 25.5-metre yacht bringing the company’s heritage into dialogue with the very best of contemporary Italian design, technology and new expectations of life at sea. With the first five units already secured by owners ahead of her first public presentation in Cannes this week, SHE leads Sanlorenzo’s significant Maison-wide presence at Europe’s leading yachting showcase, providing the clearest expression yet of Tomorrow’s Timeless: the philosophy guiding the evolution of the brand through visionary progress and timeless elegance.

“Our ambition is to keep evolving with discipline,” said Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo. “That means preserving what makes Sanlorenzo distinctive while continuing to invest in the ideas that can shape our future. The strength of the business gives us confidence to do that with a long-term perspective, while remaining focused on quality, exclusivity and the relationship we have with each owner. Premiered here in Cannes, SHE has a special meaning for Sanlorenzo, bringing together where we come from and where we are going. She reflects the elegance and craftsmanship that have defined our company for almost seventy years, interpreted through the design, technology and sensitivity of today. That same philosophy now extends across an increasingly comprehensive and complementary portfolio: through the continued innovation of Sanlorenzo and Bluegame, and through Nautor Swan, whose extraordinary heritage gives us another distinctive platform for long-term growth.”

Brand differentiation translating into sustainable growth

The world premiere of SHE comes at a moment of continued commercial strength for Sanlorenzo, with growth across all key financial indicators and sustained demand providing further evidence of the resilience of its business model. In H1 2026, Net Revenues New Yachts grew by 35.4% year-on-year in the Americas, 35.8% in Asia Pacific and 22.7% in Middle East Africa. Order Intake increased 18.3% to €496.4 million, with Q2 2026 marking the eighth consecutive quarter of year-on-year growth. Gross Backlog stood at €1,498.9 million, with 89% secured by final clients, while Net Backlog reached €1,027.6 million, providing strong visibility over future production. Sanlorenzo has consequently confirmed both its 2026 Guidance and 2026–2028 Business Plan targets, while maintaining a Net Cash Position of €49.4 million at 30 June 2026 following €37.0 million of dividend payments.

Outside the European domestic market, demand remained particularly dynamic internationally, with H1 growth of 35.4% in the Americas, 35.8% in Asia Pacific, 22.7% in Middle East Africa. The performance reflects a model built around long-term value rather than volume: disciplined production, Made to Measure co-creation, continued investment in innovation and design, and close relationships with an international community of owners and connoisseurs. These strengths continue to support Sanlorenzo’s differentiation as client priorities evolve towards greater emphasis on wellbeing, longevity, privacy and emotional experience. For the brand, that evolution is increasingly expressed through yachts centred on calm, space, connection with the sea and highly individual ways of living on board. This momentum provides the foundation for an important second half of 2026, with new product premieres across the autumn boat-show season and continued innovation throughout the Group’s portfolio.

Ten years of culture as a source of inspiration and differentiation

2026 also marks ten years since the beginning of what has become Sanlorenzo Arts, reflecting a decade-long dialogue between the Maison and the worlds of art, architecture and design. What began with Sanlorenzo’s presence at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2016 has developed into a sustained programme of institutional partnerships, commissions and exhibitions, including relationships with Art Basel and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, as well as Sanlorenzo’s support of the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. The opening of Casa Sanlorenzo in Venice in 2025 established a permanent home for this cultural dialogue. Its first full-year programme in 2026 includes Waves, Sanlorenzo’s first proprietary exhibition presented during the Venice Biennale, alongside its participation in Homo Faber in Città, organized by the Michelangelo Foundation. Over the past decade, this engagement with culture has become an increasingly distinctive part of Sanlorenzo’s identity, bringing new perspectives from art, architecture and design into the way the Maison approaches creativity, experience and innovation.

Road to 2030: From Technology to Implementation

Sanlorenzo also outlines in Cannes further progress in its Road to 2030 strategy, continuing to invest in solutions capable of reducing the environmental impact of yachting. Cannes was the perfect stage to receive RINA certification for Sanlorenzo’s Life Mystic project, reducing emissions from internal combustion engines using methanol. The bi-fuel engine prototype has been completed and testing is completed. Future market introduction will be aligned with alternative-fuel availability and owner demand. The focus is consequently expanding beyond the yacht itself to the infrastructure required to support wider adoption. Through the Venice Call for Maritime Action, presented during Venice Climate Week 2026, Sanlorenzo is encouraging policymakers, ports, coastal cities and industry partners to accelerate the development of alternative-fuel and electrification infrastructure. The company is also actively supporting the development of the Mediterranean’s first bio methanol production facility at the Port of Olbia in Sardinia.

In parallel, Sanlorenzo is increasing the use of lower-impact materials across its yachts, including alternative teak introduced on SHE and low emissions resins in composite structural parts, together with exploration of natural fibres for yacht components. A new strategic collaboration with BYD Energy Storage is also focused on developing next-generation onboard battery and energy-management systems for superyachts. The partnership establishes BYD Energy Storage as Technology Supplier and Official Battery Supplier to Sanlorenzo, creating a framework for joint research and development across battery performance, energy efficiency and onboard electrification. Together, these programmes reflect a broader principle within Sanlorenzo’s innovation strategy: advancing technology alongside the infrastructure, partnerships and owner experience required to make its application meaningful.

Three Distinctive Brands, One Complementary Portfolio

As demonstrated in Cannes, Sanlorenzo’s philosophy of purposeful innovation now extends across every segment of yachting through the distinct identities of Sanlorenzo, Bluegame and Nautor Swan. Each brings its own history, character and expertise to an increasingly complementary portfolio designed around different owner experiences. Sanlorenzo brings its Made to Measure philosophy and design leadership to the pinnacle of motor yachts and superyachts. Bluegame explores new ways of moving across and experiencing the water, acting as a laboratory for unconventional ideas and emerging technologies. Nautor Swan brings sixty years of sailing heritage, performance, craftsmanship and a community like no other into a new era.

Supporting this development is an established management team structured for the Group’s next phase of growth, with Tommaso Vincenzi leading the Sanlorenzo brand and Gianguido Girotti serving as CEO of both Bluegame and Nautor Swan, alongside the Group’s senior functional leadership. Across the portfolio, the strategy remains centred on five enduring strengths: pioneering technology; innovation within tradition; operational excellence; a distinctive international distribution network; and a brand-led, owner-centric approach.

‘The Bluevolution’: A new era for Bluegame

Cannes also marks an important new chapter for Bluegame, with the world premiere of the BG64 representing the first major product introduction under Gianguido Girotti’s leadership. The new model brings Bluegame’s distinctive architectural approach into the 64-foot segment, combining the open spatial continuity developed through the BG74 with the proven platform of the BGX63. The BG64 completes the BG range while remaining grounded in the four principles that define the brand: a unique concept, unconventional personality, marine seaworthiness and deep technical know-how. Its debut begins what Bluegame describes as ‘The Bluevolution’: the next stage in the development of a brand built around challenging established categories and creating new ways to experience the sea.

Nautor Swan, meanwhile, begins its 60th anniversary celebrations with the Swan 80, opening a new chapter for the Maxi range and bringing true Maxi capability into a more agile, owner-focused format. Together, these launches demonstrate how the Group’s growing portfolio creates new opportunities while preserving the individuality, heritage and expertise of each brand. For Sanlorenzo, Cannes brings together product innovation, brand development and sustained business performance as evidence of a strategy built around the positive tensions of innovation with tradition: continuing to evolve while preserving the qualities that have made the Group’s brands distinctive over time.
