Α period of great excitement and activity has officially begun for the Benetti shipyard that can be definitely called “Giga Season” since over the next few months 3 giga Yachts, each one over 100 meters in length, will be launched in Livorno.
Benetti FB277 was the first to be launched on December 18th during a private event, and some days before that , she saw the light of day as she gradually emerged from her shed.With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, FB277 measures 107 meters in length. She has a beam of 15.2-meters and a full load displacement of 3,300 tons.
FB277 has been designed entirely by Benetti and built in collaboration with Imperial Yachts, who were in charge of the project’s management and supervision, on behalf of the owner.
Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard specialized in luxury yachts founded in 1873. During the years the shipyard has managed to produce unique yachts. Benetti designs, builds and sells yacht in composite-material and aluminum superstructure from 29 to 50 meters, as well as steel and aluminum yachts from 50 meters to over 100 meters.
