Vitruvius Yacht Design presents two new projects, Tankoa M/Y Spirit and Fast 50, at Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
The internationally renowned yacht design and architecture studio Vitruvius Yacht Design, now an Italian-based company headquartered in Viareggio – founded and led by Philippe Briand, will return to the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 26 September 2026, presenting two new projects: the 52-metre Tankoa Yachts M/Y Spirit and the brand-new Fast 50.
The 52-metre, wellness-focused Tankoa Yachts M/Y Spirit will make its highly anticipated world debut at the show, while the Fast 50 project will be previewed in Monaco, with further details to be unveiled during the event. Spanning concept development, exterior styling, interior architecture and naval architecture, Vitruvius Yacht Design delivers a fully integrated design approach, bringing together aesthetics, functionality and technical expertise to create yachts conceived around the way their owners wish to live at sea. This philosophy is reflected in both M/Y Spirit and the Fast 50, combining enduring elegance with a forward-thinking approach to yacht design. Both M/Y Spirit and Fast 50 have been launched this summer.
“Our passion is to design unique superyachts for unique owners. The essence of our design is purity and proportion, enhancing the owner’s experience,” explains Philippe Briand, founder of Vitruvius Yacht Design. At the request of the client, Vitruvius Yachts Design pushed this philosophy to the extreme. Fast 50 is a single-deck yacht, featuring the sleekest and lowest profile ever designed by Vitruvius, to express her efficiency and speed, with a top speed of 35 knots.
“We summarised the message of purity and speed in one line: the sheerline, the separation between the hull and the superstructure.” concludes Briand. As exterior designer, Vitruvius Yacht Design had a very close collaboration with the owner, the interior designer Liaigre, the naval architect Mulder, and the shipyard Alia. The owner’s vision of balance, wellbeing and life on the water became a guiding influence throughout the project, resulting in a yacht conceived around the idea that the greatest luxury is not measured by volume, but by the quality of the experience on board.
