Baglietto opens the new yachting season with the sale of Project53, designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, who will also oversee the interior design concept.
Following the Project58, the new 53-metre Project53, under 500 GT, combines the shipyard’s heritage with a strongly contemporary design characterized by generous volumes, high performance and extensive customization possibilities. The yacht is going to be built for a repeated Baglietto customer, and it is scheduled to be delivered in 2029. This new order brings to five the number of hulls sold by the shipyard in 2026.

The exterior design is distinguished by dynamic, streamlined lines, enhanced by a vertical bow that gives the yacht a contemporary and assertive profile. Expansive glazed surfaces flood the interiors with natural light and strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, while offering panoramic views of the sea. The design also places a strong emphasis on outdoor living. The particularly spacious sundeck provides generous areas for relaxation and socializing, while the beach club, open on two sides, incorporates a pool and fitness/SPA area creating a true platform at sea, offering direct access to the water also thanks to a central transformer.
The interiors, also designed by Enrico Gobbi, are conceived to create elegant, bright and contemporary spaces, where prestigious details make the difference, with particular attention to visual and functional continuity throughout the yacht. The master suite on the main deck features large windows and a spacious walk-in wardrobe, ensuring both privacy and flexibility.
From a technical standpoint, Project53 is built on an aluminum hull, designed to achieve an effective balance between performance, stability, range and operational efficiency. The yacht is expected to reach a top speed of over 16.0 knots. With the sale of this first unit, Baglietto expands its offering in the 50-metre segment with a new yacht that combines the generous volumes and comfort typically associated with larger yachts with the performance, efficiency and flexibility of a highly bespoke design.
