Bellini Yacht enters the superyacht segment with Eternal 36

First 36-metre superyacht model in a new range by Bellini in steel and aluminium for ocean cruising.

With the launch of Eternal 36, Bellini Yacht officially enters the world of superyachts. The first model in a new range set to define the shipyard’s future, Eternal 36 brings to the 30 to 50-metre segment the core values that have shaped the brand’s identity. Bellini Yacht’s entry into the steel and aluminium superyacht sector does not represent a break from its heritage, but rather the desire to extend to a new product category the values that have guided the shipyard through three generations. It marks the natural evolution of Bellini’s approach: a deeply rational vision of yachting, where design, functionality, attention to detail, build quality, engineering culture and the ability to create yachts built to stand the test of time find a new balance on a larger scale. These principles remain at the heart of the Bellini philosophy, now reinterpreted through an advanced and contemporary platform. Eternal 36 is the first model in a range conceived to express these principles in a new dimension.

Battista Bellini, CEO of Bellini Yacht Group, commented: “Our entry into the superyacht segment is the result of a clear strategy and, in this case, an acceleration of our growth and development plan: to leverage the wealth of expertise built by Bellini and bring it into a new market segment through products that are distinctive and true to our identity. We wanted to create a platform that could embody these principles, combining our manufacturing heritage with world-class superyacht expertise. Our objective was not simply to build a new yacht, but to create a range distinguished by design balance, construction quality and an uncompromising focus on the onboard experience. Over the past few years, we have invested significantly in strengthening both the company and the team, bringing together leading professionals from across the international yachting sector with one clear ambition: to establish Bellini as a globally recognised benchmark, known not for production volumes but for build quality, engineering culture and enduring value. Eternal 36 represents another important milestone in this vision and the most authentic expression of what we aspire to build for Bellini’s future.”

The expertise that transformed a vision into reality

To launch its Superyacht Division, Bellini Yacht assembled a team of professionals representing some of the most respected expertise in international yacht building. Experience, know-how and vision come together in a project developed through close collaboration between management, project management, naval architecture, engineering and interior design. The team includes Bellini Yacht technical department with Davide Benaglia exterior design lead to grant continuity and the brand’s values,  Hydro Tec for naval architecture and marine engineering, m2atelier for interior design, and Nicolai Yacht Consulting for business development, product development and project management.

Francesco Frediani – Director of Bellini Superyacht Division – With more than thirty years of international experience in the yachting industry, leads the development and management of the Bellini Superyacht Division.“I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new superyacht range whose values, content and design philosophy I deeply share. Eternal 36 marks the beginning of an ambitious journey that combines heritage, craftsmanship, innovation and a genuine focus on owners’ needs. Working on this project means shaping a tangible vision and laying the foundations for Bellini’s future in the superyacht sector.”

Nicola Nicolai – Managing Partner, Nicolai Yacht Consulting “Supporting Bellini in setting up its Superyacht division and developing the range, starting with the Eternal 36, meant translating an ambitious vision into a coherent, competitive industrial project, perfectly positioned within the international market. From the beginning, our approach went beyond mere project management or technical development; it integrated strategic business consulting, engineering, and the optimization of product and production process to guarantee the highest standards of superyacht shipbuilding. What truly sets the Eternal 36 apart from other offerings on the market is the seamless synthesis between a bespoke, custom-made experience and an extremely rational project architecture. We created a model that merges distinctive design and a revolutionary space management strategy with advanced engineering solutions, engineered to maximize both construction efficiency and onboard liveability. The Eternal 36 represents a new benchmark in its segment: a vessel that offers owners genuine, solid, and lasting value.”

Sergio Cutolo – Founder & CEO, Hydro Tec – “Bellini’s story began with wood construction, evolved through fibreglass and now reaches steel and aluminium with Eternal 36. Throughout this transition, Hydro Tec has transferred to a shipyard new to this construction methodology the expertise gained through more than thirty years of designing steel and aluminium yachts, integrating naval architecture, CFD analysis and structural engineering into a single development process. Hull performance, validated through extensive CFD campaigns, together with Bellini’s first-ever mixed steel and aluminium construction, required dedicated work to optimise volumes, weight distribution, centre of gravity and acoustic comfort, following the structural approach that has always characterised Hydro Tec. It has been a privilege to support Bellini throughout this journey as part of a team with whom we have long shared mutual respect and collaboration. Eternal 36 demonstrates how engineering solidity and a genuine explorer spirit can coexist in perfect balance, creating lasting value and establishing the technical foundations for the entire new Bellini Superyacht range.”

Marijana Radovic & Marco Bonelli – Founders, m2atelier- “For the ETERNAL 36, m2atelier conceived “Interiors to Touch”: spaces designed not only to be seen, but experienced through the body and the senses. The studio’s interior concept is defined by tactility, soft curves and a continuous spatial flow that brings the exterior language of the yacht inside. Drawing on the quiet precision of Japanese spatial culture—its sense of balance, restraint and considered simplicity — m2atelier translated the movement of the hull into rounded volumes and fluid lines. These elements create a natural dialogue between the yacht’s architecture, its interior spaces and the water beyond. The concept also draws upon Bellini’s heritage and the classic design philosophy that has defined the shipyard for generations. m2atelier emphasized the warm, wooden sensations at the heart of this identity, combining smoked oak, walnut and timber surfaces with pale travertine, light fabrics and soft grey leather. Depth is created through touch, grain and subtle variations in finish rather than decoration.Lighting, acoustics and technology are integrated almost invisibly, allowing the tactile architecture and craftsmanship to remain the focus. The result honors Bellini’s history while expressing it in a new way: contemporary and precise, yet warm, fluid and deeply sensory.”

The first chapter of the new Bellini Superyacht Division

Eternal 36 is a fully custom 36.13-metre explorer yacht featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, designed for unrestricted ocean cruising and developed as the first model in a new range set to expand in the years ahead. The yacht combines distinctive styling, advanced naval architecture and a design philosophy strongly focused on quality of life onboard. Classed by RINA and fully compliant with the Red Ensign Group Yacht Code, Eternal 36 has been engineered for unrestricted ocean navigation. The yacht achieves a top speed of 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles at an economical speed of 10 knots. Hull performance was developed and validated through extensive CFD analysis, allowing optimisation of efficiency, fuel consumption and cruising comfort. Conceived as a true explorer yacht with a Mediterranean soul, Eternal 36 combines structural strength, long-range capability and versatility with a strong emphasis on the onboard experience. Exterior spaces are enhanced by a spacious beach club featuring an integrated swimming pool and tender garage, while large glazed surfaces and sliding doors between the salons and exterior decks create seamless continuity between indoor and outdoor living.

Arranged across four principal decks, the yacht offers generous volumes, abundant natural light and a constant connection with the sea. The interiors, developed by m2atelier, interpret the concept of wellbeing through fluid forms, refined materials and a design approach centred on both owner and guests. From a technical standpoint, the mixed steel-and-aluminium construction represents a first for Bellini Yacht, combining the strength and reliability of a steel hull with the weight-saving and efficiency benefits of an aluminium superstructure. The naval engineering developed by Hydro Tec optimises volume distribution, weight management, acoustic comfort and overall performance while maintaining gross tonnage below 300 GT. Propulsion is provided by twin Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines compliant with IMO Tier III standards, supported by active stabilisation systems both underway and at anchor, together with engineering solutions specifically developed to minimise vibration and noise while maximising onboard comfort.

More than a new model, Eternal 36 is a statement of intent: the first cornerstone of a new Bellini Superyacht range designed to embody a contemporary vision of yachting, where design, functionality, construction quality and lasting value coexist in perfect balance. Supporting Eternal 36’s international positioning will also be a global commercial strategy. Royal Yacht Sarl and Worth Avenue Yachts have been appointed as the yacht’s Central Sales Agencies, bringing together their expertise and experience in the superyacht sector to lead its international sales and marketing activities and present the project to the world’s key yachting markets.
