2024 has been another year of groundbreaking projects at YYachts. Our ‘keep it simple’ philosophy inspires us to create yachts that exceed expectations through intuitive usability, technical perfection and a touch of individuality according to our customers’ wishes.
A new Y8 with spectacular design and top placings at the Super Yacht Cup in Palma
A highlight of the year was the launch of our new Y8, which combines Scandinavian design with German craftsmanship to set new standards in spaciousness, versatility and performance. This stunning combination has attracted worldwide attention and made the Y8 one of the most sought-after yachts of the year.
A light-flooded saloon: The spacious saloon with sofas on both sides and a dining area for up to eight guests creates an unparalleled sense of space.
Flexibility in design: Four different layouts allow the new owner to customise the interior according to their own preferences and lifestyle – perfect for individual needs.
Innovative design and performance: Javier Jaudenes and Surge Projects have designed a yacht that offers both speed and safety. The carbon construction makes the Y8 extremely light, making it not only fast, but also safe and stable.
The Y8 Calabash also achieved a phenomenal placing in Class B at the Super Yacht Cup in Palma in June. This success once again confirms the outstanding sailing characteristics and innovative design of our yachts.

A private retreat on the water – Y7 with sea-view sauna
In 2024, we also delivered a Y7 that meets the owner’s every wish. It includes a custom-built sauna overlooking the sea and an elegant piano in the saloon. Despite her impressive specification, the Y7 can easily be sailed by a small crew or by the owners themselves.
Ideal for long-distance cruising and independent living at sea, the Y7’s lightweight carbon construction makes it exceptionally fast, agile and safe – perfect for owners who value both performance and comfort.
Looking forward to 2025 with an all-new Y9 in the making
Off to a good start in 2025, we are excited about the challenges and opportunities the year will bring.
We are currently building a Y9 in one of the coveted spaces in our yard, which will be delivered this summer. Our team is also preparing to launch a Y7 at the end of April and a Y8 in June. The new owners have enjoyed working with our team to meet their individual requirements.
Our latest news is a new smaller sailing yacht – a Y6. This is our response to customer requests for smaller models. The Y6 is specifically tailored for owners who wish to sail with a small crew or without a dedicated team, while still enjoying exceptional luxury, performance and the core values of YYachts. Stay tuned for more details in one of our upcoming newsletters.
Expanding our international presence to bring you the best sailing experience worldwide remains a key focus for 2025.
