At the start of the Miami International Boat Show, BAVARIA YACHTS presents new details of the new BAVARIA R55. The largest motor yacht ever built by BAVARIA YACHTS is due to be presented to the public this fall.
Even though Bavaria Yachts has only published a few pictures and a video of the new Bavaria R55 so far, the elegance, dynamic, agility and the powerful design language of the new flagship by Bavaria Yachts are very obvious. The shipyard for serial yachts, well-known for its high quality, now publishes further technical details of the Bavaria R55.
With an overall length of 17.69 metres and a width of 4.66 metres, the Bavaria R55 is the largest ever motor yacht built in Giebelstadt. She was constructed by J&J Design who already designed the successful Bavaria R40 for Bavaria Yachts. The drive is looked after by IPS propulsion with either two 600 hp or two 725 hp. The luxurious interior with three cabins and a crew cabin is being built using new first class materials. Following the finalisation of the engineering process by the development team of Bavaria Yachts, the construction of the Bavaria R55 will start shortly.
With three premieres, Germany’s biggest yard for catamarans, sailing and powerboats will enter the Miami International Boat Show (16th to 20th February). For the first time, the powerboats BAVARIA R40 FLY, BAVARIA E40 and the sailing yacht CRUISER 34 will be shown to the US market. With the Nautitech 46 Fly, Bavaria Yachts presents the newest innovation of their Catamaran range.
