007’s Seamaster sold at Christies

‘Prototype one’ – the OMEGA Seamaster 300 worn by Daniel Craig in SPECTRE – was sold at a Bond-themed auction in London yesterday night.

Christie’s live and online auction: James Bond Spectre, featured SPECTRE memorabilia from the archives of Eon Productions, the makers of the Bond films.

At the live auction, the watch fetched GBP 92,500.

EGA Seamaster 1

This special timepiece features a stainless steel case and sleek black dial. The bi-directional rotating bezel is also black, this time made from polished ceramic with a LiquidMetal® 12 hour scale. Other unique features include the “lollipop” central seconds hands, as well as the 5-stripe black and grey NATO strap. On the inside, this watch is driven by the highly innovative OMEGA Master Co-Axial calibre 8400, a revolutionary movement in its own right.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit Doctors Without Borders and other non-profit organisations.
