Overmarine Group has officially inaugurated the new year with two launching ceremonies, held just a few days apart.
The first vessel to hit the water, on Friday 10th January, was the third unit in the Mangusta Oceano 39 series, the entry level in the Mangusta Oceano displacement line, built for a repeating American Client.
The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a modern villa on the sea featuring huge glazed surfaces and much wider volumes than those normally found in her class. The two saloons on the main and upper decks have floor-to-ceiling windows that can be partly opened, creating an unprecedentedly close contact with the sea and a ‘seamless’ onboard lifestyle that maximises the pure pleasure of being at sea.
The aft area and the foldable terraces lead to the beach house, becoming a natural extension overlooking the sea where guests can enjoy total relaxation in the utmost privacy. The ‘Mangusta Design feature”’ infinity pool, located forward on the upper deck, has a partially glass bottom which lets natural light filter through into the master stateroom, located just below it.
As usual, the interiors and layout are fully-custom; on this unit, they were designed by the shipyard’s design team together with architectural firm FM.
This Mangusta Oceano 39 is equipped with 2 MTU 16V 2000 M 96L engines that will allow her to reach a cruising speed of 16 knots, a maximum speed of 18 knots, and a range of up to 2,100 nautical miles.
Shapes, volumes, and onboard solutions are undisputedly the keys to this model’s success
On Tuesday, 14th January, the tenth Mangusta GranSport 33 unit, built for a European Owner, was also officially launched.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 – a very successful model, with several other units already sold and currently under construction – is the entry level of the Mangusta GranSport line; she mounts four Volvo Penta 1,000 HP engines and 4 pod IPS — a propulsion system that ensures comfort, reduced consumption and outstanding manoeuvrability and allows the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 25 knots while minimising vibrations and guaranteeing unmatched noiselessness.
This model too was the result of the shipyard’s long-standing cooperation with designer Alberto Mancini: together, they have pencilled a vessel that stands out for rakish, sporty lines which capture all of the Mangusta ‘family feeling’ in a 33-metre yacht blending together performances, long range, and generous interiors and exterior spaces.
This unit comes with 5 cabins, with the master stateroom located on the main deck and extending over 40 sq. m (435 sq. ft.). Its huge glazed surfaces have been designed to ensure a constant visual contact with the sea while providing maximum privacy at all times.
Overmarine Group will be taking part in the forthcoming Düsseldorf Boat Show (18th -26th January) together with Michl Marine – Halle 7A / D04.
The Group will be also exhibitor to Dubai Boat Show (19-23 February) with a yacht on display. These 2 events will be a great opportunity to discover all the latest news from the Group, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
