Venice Boat Show 2026: Innovation and tradition meet at the Arsenale

The sea is on display at the Boat Show: Venice is ready to share the story of international boating at the Arsenale from Wednesday May 27 to Sunday May 31.

From Wednesday 27 May to Sunday 31 May, the historic site of the Arsenale in Venice will once again take centre stage in the world of international boating. It is here, where the maritime power of the Republic of Venice was built over many centuries, that the seventh edition of the Venice Boat Show will take place: not just an exhibition, but a celebration of the deep bond between the city and the sea. This enduring legacy is being renewed through innovation, sustainability and a vision that looks to the future while embracing tradition. With approximately 300 boats on display, 240 of which will be in the water, and 270 exhibitors from Italy, Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, the Boat Show will showcase a broad and diverse range of products, establishing Venice as a strategic hub between the Adriatic, the Balkans and the Black Sea. This presence confirms the success of the Boat Show in attracting shipyards and international brands, transforming the Arsenale into a crossroads of boating cultures and visionary designs. A variety of iconic sailing models will be presented in the lagoon, including the Solaris 55 and 60, the Grand Soleil 44 and 52, the Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 and 60, the Bavaria 42, the Jeanneau 65, 60 and 415, the Lagoon 38 and 46, and the Bali Cat Space catamaran. Other well-established and up-and-coming shipyards from Northern Europe will also be present. Together, these participants confirm that the Boat Show has also become a reference point for sailing, showcasing models that appeal to a wide and passionate audience.

This year, the Turkish shipyard Seawinds will be attending the Venice Boat Show for the first time with its 11.70 cruising catamaran, which is capable of handling both coastal cruising and more serious offshore navigation. At 39 feet long, it is the perfect size for a couple or small family looking to embark on a sailing adventure. The main “Riviera” dock will feature large yachts and new products from international shipyards. The Ferretti Group alone will bring seven boats, including the world premiere of the Ferretti 670 and the Pershing 6X with its sleek lines and cutting-edge technology. Next Group will showcase the AB 80 fast flybridge with jet propulsion. Also on display will be the Sunreef 70 electric propulsion sailing catamaran from Sunreef Yachts. This 70-foot masterpiece of design and innovation boasts spectacular features such as a large aft deck complete with a hidden garage and folding side platforms integrated into the bulwarks, providing the ultimate in luxury living on the water.

Making its first appearance at the Boat Show from Turkey is the 30XP from Numarine, the first diesel-electric model in the successful XP Explorer range. Designed for experienced owners who wish to undertake long voyages in complete autonomy, it has been built with great attention to energy efficiency. World water premiere for the Gran Turismo 50, the flagship of Beneteau. Designed around an innovative approach to layout, this new yacht offers an incredibly versatile platform that retains the pure ethics of the Gran Turismo concept. The Say Carbon 32, from the German shipbuilder Say Carbon Yachts, is also making its world premiere. This model is characterised by its bold and contemporary design, sculpted lines and prestigious living spaces, reinterpreting the concept of a performance boat to reflect modern aesthetics. The Greenline 42 from Greenline Yachts also embodies sustainability and is making its debut in Venice. It inaugurates a new era in hybrid navigation. With its 10 430 W solar panels (4.3 kW in total) and Hybrid Ready technology, it can sail in fully electric mode at speeds of up to 6.5 knots, reducing consumption, noise and emissions while ensuring autonomy and comfort, even when at anchor.

The Boat Show will also highlight models that embody boating as a lifestyle. These include the Azimut Magellano 66, which features a Dual Mode hull that ensures stability and comfort; the Invictus Yacht TT460, which is crafted with exceptional attention to detail; and the world premiere of the 11-metre Calita catamaran from Biondi Yacht. This vessel marks a double premiere, both for the boat itself and for the first participation of the shipyard in the Boat Show. The water runway will present a variety of styles, from sporty boats to those designed for cruising, offering an overview of the diversity of the sector.

This edition also marks the first participation of Cantieri Navali di Adria, represented by its Vittoria Yachts division. On display is a 22-metre explorer vessel with military roots: a luxury landing craft designed for extended periods at sea in all weather conditions, offering maximum autonomy while prioritising minimal environmental impact. The new F5.7 from Prestige Yachts, an Italian premiere, completes the panorama of large yachts. It is an expression of French-Italian design applied to high-end recreational boating. Soft curves, refined finishes and advanced technologies come together to create an onboard experience that prioritises ease of handling and absolute comfort, in keeping with the standards of excellence that the brand has delivered since 1989.

For the first time, the Boat Show is set to welcome the Glisenti shipyard from Lake Como. Its Centomiglia mahogany hyperboat, on display in the Tesa 90 area, introduces another approach to the craft of ship building: a sophisticated, high-performance, hand-built boat with a Lamborghini V12 engine. This design is reminiscent of the historic Lake Como competition, which took place from the post-war period onwards and saw shipyards competing along the shores of the lake. This addition to the exhibition confirms that the culture of wood is a shared value that transcends the boundaries of the lagoon. The Venice Boat Show is promoted by the Municipality of Venice and organised by VE.LA. S.p.A. in collaboration with the Italian Navy.
