Maiora M|36: A New Chapter in the Brand’s History

MAIORA, a brand of Next Yacht Group, presents the Maiora M|36, the first model of the new M line, marking  a significant evolution for the shipyard while preserving the identity that has defined half a century of success.

Maiora M|36 is the perfect fusion of innovation and tradition, a refined synthesis of functionality and timeless  elegance, offering an exclusive and uncompromising onboard experience.

With a length of 37 meters (122 feet) and a beam of 8.20 meters (27 feet), the Maiora M|36 is spread across  three decks, ensuring generous and sophisticated spaces. The layout includes five cabins, accommodating up  to 12 guests, with the owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest suites on the lower deck, striking the  perfect balance between privacy and conviviality.

The Maiora M|36 is the result of a collaboration between MAIORA and Quartostile, a design studio renowned  for its prestigious experience in the yachting sector—including the award-winning Maiora 36 Exuma—as well  as in the automotive industry, with high-profile partnerships such as Giugiaro and Maserati. While the exterior  design bears the signature of Quartostile, the interior spaces have been crafted by Acube Design, an  architectural studio with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Quartostile and the MAIORA team worked together to develop a vision that goes beyond traditional boundaries,  transforming the yacht into a natural extension of the sea. Architectural solutions ensure a seamless  connection between interior and exterior, where the horizon becomes an integral part of the onboard  experience.

The profile of the Maiora M|36 has been meticulously designed to evoke a sense of dynamism, achieved  through a refined interplay of acceleration and volume, creating a perception of movement—even when the  yacht is at anchor.

Bold yet sophisticated lines converge in a captivating interplay of light and shadow, where the hull blends  harmoniously with expansive glass surfaces and the warmth of teak, enhancing the yacht’s elegance and  fluidity.

“Our goal was not simply to design the lines of a yacht, but to write a new chapter, establishing features and  content that can be applied across different sizes and setting a benchmark for the brand’s future.

Behind this vision lies an approach that goes beyond mere form creation—a design process based on close  collaboration with the shipyard’s teams, refining every stylistic solution through advanced engineering. Every curve, every surface, every detail is meant to express our belief that design is a language capable of evoking  emotions and transforming navigation into an unparalleled experience,” commented Quartostile.

The outdoor areas, the heart of life on board, offer guests a direct and immersive connection with the sea,  thanks to meticulously designed spaces where the full-beam bow and openable stern redefine the concept  of onboard living.

The main deck unfolds as a seamless continuum between interior and exterior spaces. At the stern, fold-down  bulwarks and a concealed, walkable pool cover elevate versatility on board. Additionally, a carefully planned  height distribution brings the cockpit closer to the sea, enhancing the usability of the space in an entirely new  way.

This sense of continuity extends into the salon, where opening side windows dissolve physical barriers,  creating a fully immersive experience in direct contact with the sea, eliminating any separation between indoors  and outdoors.

At the bow, the full-beam owner’s suite features expansive windows, dissolving physical boundaries and  fostering an intimate connection with the sea.

On the upper deck, the generous space and seamless continuity from stern to bow ensure exceptional  flexibility, allowing for a fully customizable configuration tailored to the owner’s preferences. The expansive  lounge, dining area, bar, and sunbathing spaces create a truly unique atmosphere, further enhanced by  breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding seascape.

The Pilot House, positioned independently, has been designed to provide optimal control and outstanding  visibility, thanks to its 180-degree panoramic view towards the bow.

Completing this layout of ultimate comfort are the four guest suites on the lower deck, dedicated to ensuring  an exclusive and relaxing stay.

The interiors of the Maiora M|36, developed by Acube Design in collaboration with the shipyard’s Centro Stile,  embody the beauty of simplicity through organic forms and natural materials, creating spaces designed for  comfort, practicality, and well-being.

Fluid shapes lie at the heart of this project: moving away from rigid geometries, the design draws inspiration  from the natural flow of marine elements, with soft curves and continuous surfaces that enhance a sense of  harmony and relaxation.

With the Maiora M|36, we aimed to embody an innovative vision, where form, function, and connection with  the sea seamlessly merge. The M|36 breaks down all barriers between interior and exterior, maximizing the  relationship with the surrounding environment.

The teak flooring extends into the interiors, reinforcing the  concept of a boundless space, while handcrafted leather details and artistic references transform each area  into a sophisticated and contemporary masterpiece,” commented Acube Design.

The first Maiora M|36 unit will be built in Viareggio, at the shipyard’s prestigious production site, which features  eight dedicated stations for yacht construction, and is set to hit the water in Summer 2026.
