Heesen Yachts has launched the superyacht Project Agnetha, the latest addition to its established 55-metre Steel series. This go-anywhere blue-water motor yacht features a proven design platform, providing a reliable and customisable foundation for owners seeking immediate delivery for the upcoming summer season.

Project Agnetha’s exterior, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, presents a sophisticated and contemporary profile. Horizontal lines accentuate the yacht’s length, while expansive, tinted glass panels on the main and upper decks maximise natural light and offer panoramic views. The distinctive “shark tooth” detail on the wheelhouse overhang adds a signature touch, and the removal of aft superstructure pillars enhances the indoor-outdoor flow, providing uninterrupted ocean vistas from virtually every onboard location.

The ultra-efficient Fast Displacement hull (FDHF), paired with two compact MTU 4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, delivers a top speed of 15.5 knots and ensures stability in all sea conditions. This combination of low fuel consumption throughout the entire speed spectrum, the superior seakeeping and extreme reliability makes Project Agnetha suitable for a range of cruising itineraries.

The interior, designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, offers a foundation for personalisation. Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s As You Like It, interiors feature light wood veneers and refined metal accents, serving as a canvas for owners to express their individual style. The yacht accommodates twelve guests in six staterooms, with the 86 sqm owner’s quarters featuring a lounge, a study, a walk-in wardrobe, and a private veranda. An additional four guest staterooms can be found on the lower deck, with a VIP suite on the bridge deck.

Silvia Margutti, lead architect at Luca Dini Design and Architecture, comments: “What’s interesting for a client stepping into a yacht that’s been built on speculation like Agnetha is the level of customisation that is possible when the interior layout is set. We have therefore prepared several interior proposals featuring different lighting, furniture and décor to demonstrate the way in which an interior that is almost complete can continue to be transformed and tailored to a client’s needs.”
Project Agnetha benefits from the experience gained in building on a proven platform that minimises technical uncertainties, allowing owners to focus on creating lasting memories with family and friends. While drawing on this established foundation, Project Agnetha retains its individuality through the collaborative work between Heesen and Luca Dini, resulting in a unique interior that can be tailored to the owner’s taste and lifestyle.

“Project Agnetha offers clients a unique opportunity,” comments Ruud van der Stroom, Heesen’s CCO. “She is the only 55-metre steel yacht of Dutch origin available with a fast delivery, built on a proven platform that provides a solid foundation for customisation. This represents an excellent opportunity for an owner to acquire a reliable and stylish yacht, ready to be personalised and enjoyed this summer.”
