Pearl Yachts won the Best Layout Award at the World Yachts Trophies

Featuring architecture by Dixon Yacht Design and sophisticated interiors by Kelly Hoppen, the award-winning Pearl 73 combines contemporary elegance with exceptional comfort.

Pearl Yachts has won the Best Layout in the 19.50m to 24m category for the new Pearl 73 at the 25th World Yachts Trophies. The award was presented on Saturday 12 September at the event’s gala dinner at the Carlton Cannes Beach Club. The recognition comes during the Pearl 73’s world-premiere week at Cannes Yachting Festival. The new Pearl 73 develops Pearl’s established approach to intelligent space planning, with four en-suite double cabins, including two principal suites: one forward with its own entrance and a second, full-beam suite amidships.

A new main-deck arrangement places the galley aft, creating a direct link between the saloon and cockpit. Beyond it, a Riviera-style aft deck with fold-down balconies opens the social area towards the water. The design brings circulation, service and outdoor living into one coherent plan without compromising the privacy of the accommodation below.

Dixon Yacht Design is responsible for the Pearl 73’s exterior styling and naval architecture. Its sleeker profile is complemented by expanded hull glazing and refined detailing. Kelly Hoppen Interiors has created the new Monochrome interior scheme, bringing together greys, off-whites and charcoal tones with layered textures and a calm architectural character.

Iain Smallridge, Founder and Managing Director of Pearl Yachts, expresses profound pride in this achievement: “To receive this recognition during the Pearl 73’s world premiere is especially meaningful. It reflects the care that our own team, Dixon Yacht Design and Kelly Hoppen Interiors have brought to every part of the yacht, as well as the owner feedback that helped shape the final design. This award belongs to everyone who turned that thinking into a finished yacht.”

Organised by SG Publications, publisher of Yachts France, Yachts Europe and Yachts Italia, the World Yachts Trophies recognise motor boats and yachts launched during the year. The 2026 programme brought together 69 finalists selected by a jury of journalists, historians and yachting experts, with the gala followed by the annual Yachts Parade in the bay of Cannes.

The award follows the Pearl 73’s world premiere alongside the Pearl 63 and Pearl 82 at Quai Max Laubeuf during Cannes Yachting Festival.
