As the port of Nafplion basks in the golden hues of spring sunshine, the 10th edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) continues to enchant, bringing together yachting professionals from around the world in a vibrant celebration of sophistication, innovation, and authentic Greek hospitality.
Recognised as the world’s largest crewed yacht charter show, MEDYS remains a cornerstone of the international yachting calendar, and this year’s edition is shaping up to be particularly memorable as it proudly celebrates a decade of excellence.
Setting the tone for this landmark edition, the show kicked off with the anual welcome reception and a breathtaking drone show that lit up the historic skyline of Nafplion. Hundreds of drones danced across the night sky in a perfectly choreographed display, illustrating iconic symbols of Greek heritage, nautical motifs, and tributes to the MEDYS legacy.
Savouring Greek flavours: The Chefs’ Competition returns
A cherished MEDYS highlight, the Chefs’ Competition returned for its second day with Category A Platinum, celebrating the theme “Greek Cuisine: A Gastronomic Journey Through the Years.”
This year’s esteemed judges include Chef George Papazacharias of the two-Michelin-starred Delta Restaurant and Chef Luca Piscazzi of the Michelin-starred Pelagos at Four Seasons Astir Palace. Joining them were yacht charter broker Sam Ramos of TJB Super Yachts for Category A, and Daniela De Marco of Fraser Worldwide SAM for Category A Platinum.

Elegant evenings & Greek hospitality
Beyond the yachts and exhibitions, the true spirit of MEDYS is captured in its celebrated social programme, a series of hand-picked events designed to foster connections and showcase the authentic warmth of Greek hospitality.
Throughout the show, select yachts open their decks to host exclusive soirées, intimate, elegant affairs that offer guests a first-hand taste of life aboard, complete with fine dining, signature cocktails, and curated entertainment under the stars. These experiences, thoughtfully curated, have once again proven to be a defining element of the show.
Sunday’s programme featured Alpha Mare’s party at Ydragogio and the ever-popular White Thing Party organised by Istion, offering guests a lively atmosphere and the signature MEDYS flair.
