The first ISA Viper 130 combines high-performance speeds with expansive luxury living spaces.
ISA Yachts, a Palumbo Superyachts brand, has launched the first unit of the ISA Viper 130 in Ancona, opening a new chapter in the brand’s history of high-performance yachts. The ceremony was attended by the Owners, their guests and the shipyard team whose expertise and dedication brought this new model to life. With an overall length of 38.8 metres, the ISA Viper 130 is a GRP planing yacht with carbon-fibre reinforcements, conceived to redefine the performance yacht concept through a compelling balance of speed, liveability and style. The first unit will make its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, followed immediately by the Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
Powered by three MAN V12X engines, each delivering 2,200 hp, coupled with two MJP waterjets and a central MJP booster, the ISA Viper 130 reaches a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. The exterior design, developed by ISA Yachts in collaboration with Fulvio De Simoni, and the interiors, designed by Fulvio De Simoni, are combined with naval architecture developed by ISA Yachts together with Studio Ing. Arnaboldi. The result is a yacht with a bold, instantly recognisable personality, whose taut, dynamic lines express the model’s performance-driven character at first glance. Arranged across three distinct yet complementary areas, the aft cockpit is one of the ISA Viper 130’s defining features, offering a contemporary interpretation of the relationship between guests and the sea.
At the lowest level, the aft beach area opens directly onto the water and features a transformer platform that serves as both a swim ladder and a passerelle. Two steps on either side lead to the second area, dominated by a generous aft-facing sunpad and a lounge with sofas and a coffee table. Opening the two side balconies further expands the available space, creating a true terrace over the sea and an exceptional sense of continuity between life on board and the water. The third area is dedicated to outdoor dining, with a large table accommodating up to 10 guests. A distinctive feature of this area is the aft galley with an adjoining bar. Thanks to an electrically operated, switchable-glass partition, the space can be configured to suit different needs: fully open for social occasions, show cooking and cocktail parties, or separated from guests to ensure maximum privacy during service.
To port of the bar, a staircase provides direct access to the sun deck. To maximise the interior volumes and create even more generous living spaces, access to the bow has been concentrated along the port side only. The foredeck therefore becomes an additional guest area, featuring a pool surrounded by sunpads and sofas and conceived as a private, self-contained setting distinct from the social spaces aft. Inside, a second bar leads into the main saloon, where expansive, opening floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light and strengthen the visual connection with the exterior. The saloon is arranged into two separate lounge areas, creating an elegant, fluid and informal environment consistent with the yacht’s dynamic character. The wheelhouse is located forward on the main deck. To port, a staircase leads to the lower deck and the guest accommodation.
Below deck are the Owner’s suite, featuring two bathrooms, and four additional double guest cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms. The layout comprises two double cabins and two twin cabins, one of which also features a third Pullman berth, accommodating a total of 11 guests across five cabins. Sheltered by a carbon-fibre hardtop, the sun deck is conceived as a private and versatile space entirely dedicated to outdoor living. In addition to the second helm station, the layout includes a large aft sunpad, a lounge area with sofas and armchairs, a spacious bar and a dining table accommodating up to 10 guests.
A complete and independent setting designed for different moments of the day, from cruising to socialising. Access to the crew quarters is located within the galley, a solution designed to ensure discreet service routes that remain separate from guest circulation. The area comprises three en-suite cabins and can accommodate up to six crew members. The side-loading garage on the starboard side houses a 5-metre tender. With the ISA Viper 130, ISA Yachts takes its vision of performance yachting into a new dimension, combining a top speed of 33 knots with the volumes, design solutions and open spaces typically found on larger yachts.
