The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup saved the best for last with a gloriously sunny, windy day on the Costa Smeralda. The 19-knot breezes provided a thrilling finale to the 26th edition of a spectacular regatta that is the cornerstone of a longstanding partnership between Rolex and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).

Today marks the start of the sixth Perini Navi Cup, welcoming 16 Perini Navi yachts to the docks of Sardinia’s Yacht Club Costa Smeralda before the fleet heads out on the open water of Porto Cervo to unleash their sails.

Around a thousand participants on sailing yachts, motor-yachts, powerboats, Rivas and classic rowing skiffs - 115 vessels in total - left the Yacht Club de Monaco today with magical memories from the 12th Monaco Classic Week, all vowing to return in two years’ time.
