Four chandeliers and a bespoke collection of lamps welcome guests aboard Explora Journeys’ new flagship.
VENINI, the historic Murano glassmaker founded in 1921, reaffirms its expertise in bespoke design with a prestigious new project created for EXPLORA III, the latest ultra-elegant ship by Explora Journeys, the luxury lifestyle brand of MSC Group. Designed to engage in dialogue with the ship’s interior architecture and elevate the onboard experience, VENINI’s creations embody a contemporary vision of hospitality through the exceptional craftsmanship of hand-blown Murano glass.
For EXPLORA III, VENINI has created four majestic bespoke chandeliers. Three were exclusively designed for the project and feature an original floral motif inspired by the lightness and elegance of flower petals, transforming glass into a sculptural expression of light and beauty.
Completing the installation is a fourth chandelier crafted using the iconic Balloton technique, one of the most distinctive expressions of Murano’s centuries-old glassmaking heritage. The chandeliers are located in the Lobby, where they welcome guests as they step aboard, becoming a defining element of the ship’s refined and sophisticated atmosphere.
The project extends throughout other areas of EXPLORA III with a collection of bespoke floor lamps, developed around the same floral concept, alongside Balloton table lamps placed in The Lobby creating a harmonious visual language across the interiors. With this project, VENINI further strengthens its presence in the world’s most prestigious hospitality destinations, bringing its expertise to architects, interior designers and international clients seeking unique and highly personalised creations.
Each piece is the result of a collaborative design process, where the mastery of Murano’s glassmakers meets the vision and requirements of each individual project, giving rise to bespoke works that enhance interiors through the timeless beauty and excellence of Murano art glass.
