The Yachting Festival is the inaugural event of the boating season and the biggest in-water boat show in Europe, and it’s back in Cannes from 12 to 17 September 2023 to present the best motor and sailing boats available internationally, from one end of the Croisette to the other at the Vieux Port and Port Canto.
As an unmissable meeting for more than 45 years, last year the Yachting Festival brought together almost 650 exceptional boats and yachts from 5 to 50 metres long and 600 exhibitors, including the major players in boating. All meet up in Cannes to open the sailing season and showcase their new products and world previews. The boats exhibited represent an eclectic and complete selection of models that are available on the market, as much by their size, from the smallest to the biggest, as the style of hull (monohulls or multihulls, rigid or semi-rigid), or even how they are powered (sail or motor).
The Festival also stands apart through the new boats on display presented by the shipyards (with the exception of the 50 boats in the yacht brokerage space).
As is the case every year, the 2023 Yachting Festival will be a showcase for the gems of the seas, all while highlighting the unique skills of experts in shipbuilding. It enables everyone – sea lovers, yachting fans, seasoned visitors and those who are simply curious – to discover a world, in an idyllic setting emblematic of the French Riviera.
"After a great edition in 2022, during which we reached our objective of exceeding the results of the pre-covid edition in 2019, we are delighted to launch the 46th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. Once again this year for our visitors from all over the world, we are set on bringing the best of the French and international offer, revealing the latest technological innovations and environmentally-friendly approaches, and providing the most beautiful of settings for exhibitors to unveil their new products and previews in the best possible conditions. The boat industry has never been in such good shape and the desire to take a boat out on the water whatever its size has never been as strong, a good reason for the 2023 edition of the Yachting Festival to be a success”, says Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Yachting Festival.
