The new D36 Open model, nominated for best European Powerboat of the Year, being the fourth nomination for the brand in the last five years.
De Antonio Yachts has been present one more year at the Cannes Yachting Festival, with 5 boats on display and 3 stands located in different areas; land, sea and the electric boats area. At the ground stand, located at the entrance of the enclosure, visitors were able to visit and see the new D36 Open; at the sea stand, the new D36 Open, the D42 Open and the D50 Open were on display. There, numerous sea trials were carried out and customers were able to test the performance of the new boat and the longer models. Finally, the new D28 Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid, which integrates two electric motors together with the hidden outboard, was in the area dedicated to electric boats.
World Premiere D36 Open
The Spanish shipyard has presented the world premiere of the new model during the Cannes Festival. The premiere has generated great expectation, has had a spectacular reception in the market, being recognized by the specialized press as a nominee for the European Power Boat of the Year 2023 award.
The 36-foot yacht is the ultimate in performance and comfort on board. With two cabins and an interior bathroom, it is similar in terms of equipment to its bigger brothers D42 and D50 and incorporates numerous improvements over its predecessor, the D34.
This new model represents a new generation of boats in terms of design, performance and fuel consumption. This improved version boasts new navigation and innovation features that are already being implemented in the top models of the range.
Impressive performance- Its exterior lines enhance the brand's modern and sporty character, while special attention has been paid to the development of a high-performance hull to offer sailing that exceeds all expectations. It is a hull that evolves from its predecessor, enhancing the entry angle with a marked V and three step lines to maintain its sporty performance, promote low consumption, while increasing the great comfort in the passage of waves and allowing a top speed close to 50 knots.
Smart solutions - The innovative D36 Open is the evolution of the successful D34 model. It is a few centimeters longer, incorporates a galley on deck with a better distribution of spaces and a small garage for an inflatable dinghy. The interiors are designed to be versatile and spacious while incorporating an LED lighting system to create different atmospheres.
Additional optional equipment - The "walkaround" deck has a unique distribution of spaces in its length that through the choice of softop or hardtop as well as high or low windshield and its list of options allows to configure different versions.
Undoubtedly, the D36 Open is an exceptional model, which extols the DNA of the brand, with its seal of hidden outboard engines and a very complete interior. A tribute to the 10 years of the company for a model of which 60 units will be manufactured in the next 2 years.
