Fountaine Pajot unveils the all new FP48 catamaran

Fountaine Pajot introduces the FP48 sailing catamaran, featuring innovative open living spaces, solar technology, and a Fall 2026 debut.

As the successor to the Tanna 47, the FP48 marks a new milestone in the evolution of the Fountaine Pajot range. Designed for owners seeking freedom, comfort and long-range cruising, it combines completely reimagined living spaces, architecture that opens seamlessly to the sea, and the brand’s latest innovations. Through its first official images, Fountaine Pajot also introduces a new way of telling the cruising story, one that is more immersive, more emotional and more closely connected to life on board.

The FP48: A new benchmark for sailing catamarans

With the FP48, Fountaine Pajot continues the renewal of its range while reaffirming its commitment to designing
sailing catamarans where innovation, design and quality of life on board come together. As the successor to the Tanna 47, the FP48 has been designed to meet the expectations of today’s owners: a stronger connection to the sea, seamless movement between living spaces, and an even greater sense of conviviality, whether underway or at anchor. Its three-meter-wide sliding glass door removes the boundary between the aft cockpit and the saloon, creating one expansive open living area. At the heart of the yacht, the central galley naturally becomes a place to gather and share moments together.

Forward, the bow cockpit and the Lounge Deck provide new spaces to relax, enjoy the surroundings and connect
with the sea, while the perfectly integrated helm station allows the skipper to remain fully engaged with guests
while sailing. Available in both the Maestro version, featuring a full-beam owner’s suite occ upying the entire port hull, and the Quatuor version, the FP48 is equally suited to extended bluewater cruising, family adventures or premium charter operations.

Innovation designed for greater autonomy

Remaining true to Fountaine Pajot’s commitment to innovation, the FP48 incorporates the brand’s latest technologies to support more autonomous and more sustainable cruising. The yacht can be equipped with up to 2,300 W of integrated solar panels, combined with the ODSea+ solution to optimize on-board energy production, storage and management. This approach reflects Fountaine Pajot’s environmental strategy to develop ever more efficient sailing catamarans while reducing their environmental footprint.

A new creative vision for a new generation

To support the launch of the FP48, Fountaine Pajot has also reimagined the way it presents its sailing catamarans.
Rather than placing the product alone at the center of the story, this new campaign highlights everything that makes life on board so unique: shared moments, the freedom of sailing, breathtaking landscapes, genuine emotions and the experiences that define cruising. Conceived as a fully immersive campaign, it includes a teaser, a signature film, a discovery video and a series of official photographs released today alongside the launch of the FP48.

An international launch for Fall 2026

Following its official reveal, the FP48 will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from September
8 to 13, 2026, where it will be presented to both the public and the international press for the very first time.
The new sailing catamaran will then continue its international tour at the season’s leading boat shows: the Grand
Pavois La Rochelle, the Genoa International Boat Show, the Barcelona International Boat Show, and the Annapolis
Sailboat Show. These events will provide visitors, owners and members of the media with the opportunity to step aboard, discover the FP48’s innovations firsthand and meet the Fountaine Pajot team.
