Sagasu Hydro Tec unveils its latest concept

This project has been carefully developed with hints of Asian tones and a strongly international character, marking the first result of Hydro Tec's recent collaboration with the new strategic partner for the APAC (Asia Pacific) regions, the yacht industry professional and expert Adam Blackmore, co-founder of Iseo Yachting Limited.

The name Sagasu, of Japanese origin, evokes the search for something necessary and desired, symbolizing the philosophy underlying this project: the exploration and discovery of new horizons. This 48-meter yacht offers the volumes and functionalities of larger yachts while remaining below the 500 GT limit, effectively embodying all the characteristics of an explorer yacht. Wrapped in elegant and sinuous lines, it captures attention and stimulates curiosity to explore its interior.

"I am extremely satisfied with the recently concluded agreement with our new strategic partner, Adam Blackmore, Co-founder of Iseo Yachting, and the business opportunity that this collaboration opens for our company.” shares Sergio Cutolo, President of Hydro Tec, “The expansion of our business into new markets, with a particular focus on Hong Kong and Asia, represents a significant step in our growth. This step is an integral part of our strategic expansion plan that will further consolidate our position in the industry."

The external lines of Sagasu are characterized by classic and traditional traits that harmoniously blend with elements of robustness and modernity, resulting in a perfect balance between elegance and dynamism. This extraordinary result is the fruit of the meticulous work of the team led by Richard Partington, Design Director at Hydro Tec, who has managed to integrate and balance various technical and stylistic components while respecting the ambitious brief of this project.

A distinctive feature is the design of the flush windows on the hull, creating a suspended central island wrapped in glass, guiding the observer along the entire vessel. A detail that enhances and emphasizes the imposing yet balanced superstructure is the thin line that follows and envelops the upper part of the yacht, highlighting its features and inviting the eye to traverse the entire vessel to unveil its exquisite details.

Configured with four different layouts offering extraordinary flexibility in terms of length and volume, with numerous customization possibilities based on the owner's preferences.

The owner's area features an integrated chaise lounge balcony, ideal for lounging and enjoying the sea view. The owner's private terrace, extending over 70 square meters, is a space to be enjoyed as a couple or with the family. The spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows of the owner's cabin overlook the private Jacuzzi, a cozy outdoor lounge area, and a bathroom zone.

Privacy on board is ensured by a carefully designed layout. The circulation of the substantial 11-member crew is facilitated by internal stairs connecting the lower deck to the command deck, providing direct access to the garage area, open to the bow, housing both the rescue tender and the customized exploration tender. From this area, direct access to the mooring area ensures complete privacy for guests and allows discreet operation by the crew.

All elements of this project have been skillfully integrated to create expansive and impressive outdoor spaces, both in the aft and bow sections. The two tenders are comfortably housed in the garage area, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoor areas even when the yacht is in port. The spacious beach club features folding terraces extending over the sea, significantly expanding the usable area. An infinity pool and a modular arrangement of seating and sunbathing create an authentic marine paradise.

This project represents the first tangible outcome of the new strategic partnership established by Hydro Tec with ISEO Yachting Limited. ISEO Yachting is a young yet highly established presence in Hong Kong and the Asian scene, resulting from the synergy between the experienced and esteemed broker Adam Blackmore, who brings over 30 years of experience in the market, and Global Yacht Services, a leading yacht management company with over 20 boats under management and a robust track record spanning more than three decades. This location proves strategic for the yacht market in Asia. The goal of this collaboration is to explore new business opportunities in the active Far East market.

In sharing his thoughts on the partnership, Adam Blackmore remarks,“I am thrilled but more excited to work on this strategic partnership with Hydro Tec. Their name alone carries so much weight, and the team are all just wonderful to work with. Being able to offer our clients and shipyard yards in Asia such a deep level of knowledge and passion is unique and will empower us to exceed our client's expectations.

Sagasu is a testament to this, I have used all my years in Asia working with and listening to clients and put it into this project. Having gone through the same process, a client would when designing their own yacht was an unbelievable experience. Of course, my ideas and vision are nothing without the expert team from Hydro Tec, making it the reality you see here. “

SERGIO CUTOLO

"I am confident that this synergy will lead to extraordinary results and will further allow us to consolidate our position in the global market, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in the yacht design industry," concludes Sergio Cutolo.
