Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi presents its new Tender division

A new range of custom luxury tenders designed to complement large yachts, from guest transfer to high-end hospitality.

Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi presents its new division dedicated to luxury tenders, designed to meet the needs of owners, captains, yacht managers and shipyards looking for tenders capable of combining operational functionality, construction quality and a high level of customization. Each project can be developed with an atelier approach, with layouts, materials, finishes, equipment and configurations defined according to the service profile, the style of the mothership and the owner’s requirements. Inaugurating the range is the TT9 Open, a 9.40-metre tender with a carbon composite hull, designed to operate as a chase boat, guest tender or independent day boat. Compact in size, yet developed according to standards consistent with the superyacht segment, the TT9 Open interprets the tender as an integral part of the onboard experience: an operational asset, but also an extension of the style and identity of the yacht it accompanies.

“With FIM Tender Division, we aim to enter a highly technical and selective segment, where the tender is not simply a service craft, but an essential element of the experience on board a large yacht,” says Corrado Piccinelli, founder and CEO of FIM. “The TT9 Open was created to respond to precise operational requirements, while maintaining construction quality, aesthetic taste and the pleasure of navigation. It is a project that fully reflects our way of understanding the sea: beauty, functionality and Italian identity.”

With the first unit already sold and destined for a 70-metre superyacht, the TT9 Open has been developed with a professional-use approach. The helm station is compact and functional, designed to ensure immediate control, visibility and precision during manoeuvring. The carbon structure helps reduce weight, offering a stable and precise response even in demanding operational conditions. The onboard layout is conceived to combine efficiency, comfort and hospitality. Aft, opposed seating and a central passage facilitate guest embarkation and disembarkation, making circulation on board simple and functional. Forward, generous seating offers a comfortable space during transfers, while the configurations can include solutions dedicated to protection from sun and weather, without altering the essential profile of the boat.

“Our goal is to develop tenders that are not only functional, but fully integrated into the onboard experience, through bespoke solutions capable of interpreting operational requirements, refined aesthetics and the owner’s identity, according to a vision founded on the values of high-end craftsmanship and elegance,” adds Manuela Barcella, founder and CEO of FIM.

Personalization is one of the central elements of the shipyard’s new division: special configurations and one-off projects are planned to respond to specific needs in terms of service, protection, privacy, hospitality and aesthetic integration with the superyacht. This approach is already being applied to new projects currently under development, including TT9 Limo, configured to offer greater protection and privacy during guest transfers, and TX9 Taxi Tender, developed for high-end hotel and hospitality contexts, where transport becomes an integral part of the overall experience.

With the launch of the new Division, Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi consolidates its growth path and opens a new design direction in the world of luxury tenders, bringing to the superyacht segment its own idea of boating: Italian, precise, functional and built around the needs of those who live the sea.
