Aquila Catamarans will unveil two world premieres and one European debut at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
Aquila Catamarans will showcase seven models at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, comprising two sail models and five power models. The line-up includes two brand-new launches: the 45 Sail, representing Aquila’s sail range, and the 35 Sport, joining its power range. Aquila’s 45 Sport power model will also make its anticipated European debut at the show. The show takes place from 8–13 September, with Aquila’s sail models located at Port Canto.
45 Sail
The second model in the new Aquila sailing range, the 45 Sail will make its world debut at Cannes Yachting Festival. At 47 feet with a 25’5″ beam, the design prioritizes interior space, exterior social hubs, cruising comfort, and sailing capability with over 1,350 square feet of upwind sail area. The fixed bow provides additional deck space forward with comfortable seating and sun pad area. Bridge-to-bow access allows movement around the boat from the large open flybridge helm area which features U-shape seating, a coffee table, and forward-facing settee. The aft cockpit, a social space designed for everything from family dinners to sunset celebrations, flows directly into the 45 Sail’s high-spec salon and galley. Panoramic windows bring natural light into the interior living spaces which offer comfort during extended cruising and a range of home comforts. Buyers can choose between three and four cabin configurations, each with private entrances and heads with showers, meaning the 45 Sail can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. This adaptability and personalization is aimed at suiting the different needs of both private owners and charter operations.
35 Sport
The new power catamaran model from Aquila, the 35 Sport features the same bold styling as the flagship of the Sport range (45 Sport) in a more compact package. A double-stepped hull delivers strong performance and efficiency, backed by twin Mercury Verado V8-300hp (standard) or twin Mercury Verado V10-400hp (optional) outboards. With a 14’9″ beam, the layout is built for entertaining as much as high-speed cruising. Bow seating comfortably fits four with lots of convenient features and storage areas, while the aft cockpit has a large U-shaped convertible seating area with adjustable backrest. This area also features a well-appointed wet bar with sink and storage, a Corian-topped galley block, and a Fusion Signature Series audio system with six speakers throughout the boat. The helm station is highly accessible with clear visibility and four helm seats with flip down bolster cushions, arm rests, and adjustable seat positions.
Below deck, the cabin sleeps two in a queen berth with a memory foam mattress, accessed via a sliding console door at the helm. Featuring optional climate control and a head with a shower, the cabin is purposefully designed to deliver the comfort, storage, and the versatility needed for everything from all-day adventures to extended coastal cruising. Other standout details include a concealed stainless steel swim ladder which connects the 35 Sport to the water, a C-Zone digital switching system for monitoring DC power, and a fiberglass hardtop for storing SUPs and Kayaks with optional Makefast shade system.
45 Sport
Making its European debut is the flagship of Aquila’s Sport range, the 45 Sport, which sets a new standard for the center console category as a genuinely wide-beam entertainment platform. Launched at Miami International Boat Show 2026, its styling is inspired by luxury SUVs with bold, contemporary lines and a commanding presence. Hydraulic drop-down hull-side terraces extend the 45 Sport’s beam from 15 feet to over 19 feet, opening the aft cockpit into a vast, water-level social space.

Two U-shaped seating areas convert into a full-width sunbed, and at the bow, another full-beam seating area features large forward-facing loungers for a second social zone. Thanks to its double-stepped hull technology and twin 600HP Mercury Verado V12 outboards, the 45 Sport is capable of speeds in excess of 50mph.
The lineup is completed by the 50 Sail, 50 Yacht, 46 Yacht, and 46 Coupe, highlighting the brand’s commitment to luxury, technological innovation, and cruising comfort across every category.
Alain Raas, Global Brand Director for Aquila Catamarans, said: “Cannes Yachting Festival is the perfect stage to showcase the continued evolution of Aquila. The new 45 Sail and 35 Sport reflect our commitment to delivering innovative, versatile and performance-driven catamarans across both our sail and power ranges. Together with the European debut of the Aquila 45 Sport and a total line-up of seven models on display, visitors will have an exceptional opportunity to experience the versatility and strength of Aquila Catamarans.”
