Apreamare to debut the all new Gozzo 42 at the Cannes Yachting Festival

Combining sportier hull lines with a traditional Sorrento silhouette, the 12.80-meter yacht reaches 30 knots with Volvo Penta engines.

Apreamare will celebrate the world premiere of the Gozzo 42 at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from September 8 to 13, 2026. The new 12.80-meter model completes the shipyard’s celebrated range, striking a masterful balance between sleek modern aesthetics and the timeless heritage of the traditional Sorrento gozzo.

Designed by Cataldo Aprea and Marco Casali (Too Design), with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini (Marine Design) and Apreamare’s technical team, the Gozzo 42 debuts a distinctly sportier profile. Redesigned hull lines, a modernized deckhouse, and updated glazing yield a dynamic silhouette without losing the iconic line’s unmistakable DNA.

Built for superior handling, comfort, and safety across all sea states, the vessel features a high-efficiency, variable-geometry hull with skegs. Measuring an overall length (LOA) of 12.80 m with an unladen displacement of 11.50 tons, the yacht comfortably accommodates a maximum capacity of 14 passengers on board. Owners can choose between a traditional shaft drive or a Volvo Penta IPS system, with the twin VP IPS 500 configuration effortlessly powering the vessel to a cruising speed of 25 knots and reaching a maximum speed of 30 knots.

Conceived for authentic, convivial living at sea, the Gozzo 42 offers a fresh, sophisticated take on coastal cruising, reinforcing Apreamare’s core philosophy of innovating for tomorrow while honoring centuries of maritime tradition.
