Jetten Beach 45 wins prestigious European Powerboat of the Year award!

The Jetten Beach 45 was declared European Powerboat of the Year 2017.

This is the second time that Jetten Shipyard has won the award, with the Jetten 35 AC being the lucky winner in 2014. aoxaui2

The jury members, made up of eight editors from Europe’s leading motorboat magazines, gave the award to the Jetten Beach 45 in the 35 to 45 feet category. They valued the innovative design, as well as the outstanding build-quality. “One could call the boat a loft on the water”, said the jury. Thanks to its fast displacement hull (FDHF) conceived by Van Oossaanen Naval Architects, the aluminium-built Beach 45 reaches 24 knots while simultaneously being both very comfortable and fuel-economic. The Cor D Rover design was built along three principles: Safety, Lounging, and Wellbeing. Consequently, the jury agreed it to be “a worthy winner!”.

Equally, the crew at Jetten Shipyard is delighted with the success. Petra Jetten, PR and marketing manager, comments: “We still can’t believe it! Such an award rewards all the hard work from everyone involved, from the designers Cor D Rover and Van Oossaanen Naval Architects, to the people at the yard, and our suppliers. Everyone has put so much into the boat. Many thanks to all of them. And, of course, to our customers, who crown the success of the Beach with their enormous interest in the boat!”

The Jetten Beach 45 will be displayed until 29th January, 2017, at boot Düsseldorf in hall 17.
