Pearl Yachts will host the world premiere of the new Pearl 73 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 this September.
Pearl Yachts is announced its participation in the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, taking place from 8th to 13th September. The highlight of the show will be the highly anticipated world premiere of the new Pearl 73, which will be showcased alongside the award-winning Pearl 63 and the outstanding Pearl 82, forming an exceptional three yacht display. Renowned as a key highlight of the global yachting season, the Cannes Yachting Festival provides an exceptional platform in the heart of the French Riviera for Pearl Yachts to showcase its latest evolution in design and craftsmanship with the debut of the new Pearl 73.
The World Premiere: Pearl 73
The Pearl 73 represents the latest evolution in Pearl’s acclaimed flybridge range, building upon the success of its predecessor with a sleeker, sharper exterior profile by Dixon Yacht Design. A new main deck arrangement places the galley aft, creating a natural hub between the cockpit and the interior saloon. Expanded hull glazing floods the interior with natural light, while the introduction of a Riviera-style aft deck with fold-down balconies creates an expansive waterside terrace that perfectly captures the essence of Mediterranean living. Inside, the Pearl 73 debuts a sophisticated new Monochrome interior design scheme by Kelly Hoppen Interiors. This elegant décor blends tonal contrasts of greys, off-whites, and charcoals with layered textures, creating a serene and architectural space that prioritises longevity and timeless luxury.
True to Pearl’s signature approach, the accommodation is class-leading. The four-cabin layout includes two master suites; one positioned forward with a private entrance, and a second full-beam suite amidships, a configuration that continues to set the benchmark in this size category. Powered by twin MAN V12 engines, the Pearl 73 delivers an exhilarating top speed of up to 32 knots, combining thrilling performance with exceptional comfort.
A Showcase of British Excellence
Joining the Pearl 73 in Cannes will be two of the shipyard’s most celebrated models:
- The Pearl 63 continues to redefine the 20-metre segment. Featuring four guest cabins, a full-beam master suite, and Kelly Hoppen’s exquisite interior styling, it remains a masterclass in spatial design and luxury.
- The Pearl 82 often described as a “compact superyacht,” offers an unparalleled five en-suite stateroom layout, including a spectacular main deck master suite with its own private foredeck terrace. Its raised pilothouse design and expansive flybridge make it the ultimate vessel for entertaining and extended cruising.
Iain Smallridge, Founder and Managing Director of Pearl Yachts, commented on the upcoming festival: “The Cannes Yachting Festival is always a highlight of the yachting calendar, but this year holds particular significance for us. The world premiere of the Pearl 73 is a proud moment for the entire Pearl family. She is a yacht that truly encapsulates our ethos; an evolution shaped by the invaluable feedback of our owners, combining Bill Dixon’s brilliant naval architecture with Kelly Hoppen’s stunning new Monochrome interior. Showcasing her alongside the Pearl 63 and Pearl 82 allows us to demonstrate the true breadth, quality, and distinctive character of the Pearl fleet, while also building excitement for the forthcoming debut of our new flagship, the Pearl 100 Hybrid, set to premiere in the United States later this year. We look forward to welcoming our clients, partners, and the press to Cannes to celebrate these milestones with us.”
