Following its successful World Premiere at the Uiva Flytande boat show in Helsinki (13–16 August 2026), the new Targa 37 made its highly anticipated Mediterranean Premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival (8–13 September 2026). Positioned as a core model in the manufacturer’s lineup, the Targa 37 continues the brand’s “4×4 of the Sea” heritage, focusing on offshore performance and multi-seasonal utility. The latest version maintains the series’ established design language while introducing refined standard equipment and updated technical specifications for the premium commuting and cruising segment.
Dimensions & Structural Integrity
Measuring an overall length (L.O.A) of 12.55 meters (41.2′) with a hull length of 11.42 meters (37.5′), the Targa 37 balances agile handling with spacious living. A beam of 3.75 meters (12.3′) provides a stable platform, while the 1.10-meter (3.6′) draft ensures access to shallower bays without sacrificing blue-water performance. Underneath, the hull sides, stringers, and under-berth sections are injected with high-density urethane foam. This technique guarantees buoyancy while creating an exceptionally stiff hull with world-class sound insulation—keeping the cabin quiet even at full throttle.
Power, Speed, and Range
Owners can tailor performance via a range of Volvo Penta D6 engine configurations, starting at 2 × 340 HP (680 HP total) up to 2 × 480 HP (960 HP total). With the top-tier 960 HP setup, the Targa 37 reaches a top speed of 44 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed between 30 and 36 knots. Supported by a 1,350 L fuel tank, a 250 L water tank, and a 150 L holding tank, the vessel is built for long-range, self-sufficient expeditions.
Interior & Deck Features
The pilothouse features an ergonomic layout complete with a full galley, gas cooker, 230 V microwave, 85 L stainless steel refrigerator, and custom Targa dinner service for six. Accommodation is split between fore and aft cabins, both with private toilets featuring electrical seawater flush systems, while the aft cabin includes a dedicated glass-door shower. Climate control is managed via an engine-powered defroster/heater system alongside three roof hatches with integrated sunshades and mosquito nets.
The vessel’s standard technical suite includes an 80 kg thrust bow thruster with a dedicated backup battery, Interceptor trim tabs, a 100 A battery charger, a 3000 W inverter, shore power with an isolation transformer, and a robust GEL/AGM battery bank. Safety features are equally comprehensive, boasting five bilge pumps—three automatic and two manual—alongside an automatic engine room fire extinguisher. For bespoke customization, optional features range from custom hull colors and full teak decking to air conditioning, a generator, a dishwasher, a damped captain’s chair, bow and transom anchor winches, a flybridge Bimini-top, and specialized long-range running lights.
