AB Yachts marks a milestone with the successful delivery of the first high-performance AB 95S to an American owner.
The AB 95S represents the pinnacle of sporty elegance within the AB Yachts lineup, specifically engineered for owners who demand the raw thrill of adrenaline and the unmatched exhilaration of high-speed navigation without compromising on safety or stylistic integrity. A significant milestone for the series was recently reached with the successful delivery of the first unit of the 28.5-metre AB 95S series to her owner. The delivery was officially announced by the prominent brokerage firm FGI Yacht Group, marking a successful collaboration between the shipyard and the international market.
Interior design based in bespoke luxury
The core design philosophy emphasizes a fluid consistency between the exterior and interior living spaces, offering an unmatched loft-like comfort characterized by a smooth, free-flowing architectural language. All interior layouts are fully tailorable to the owner’s specific desires, allowing for a personalized sanctuary that reflects individual style while providing a serene environment.
Despite the yacht’s aggressive performance capabilities, the interior experience is so refined and stable that guests often do not perceive the immense speed at which the vessel is traveling. Accommodation is designed to house up to ten guests in four luxurious cabins, with additional quarters provided for a professional crew of four in two dedicated cabins.
Engineering excellence and propulsion
Technologically, the AB 95S stands at the forefront of the industry as one of the first yachts on the market to be equipped with the all-new MAN V12X-2200 engines. The propulsion system consists of three engines delivering a staggering total of 6,600 horsepower, coupled with two MJP steerable waterjets and one central MJP booster. This sophisticated configuration allows the 28.45-meter vessel to reach maximum speeds exceeding 50 knots, providing extraordinary maneuvering capabilities and efficiency. To ensure maximum comfort even when stationary, the yacht is fitted with a Gyro Stabilizer system that eliminates roll both underway and at zero speed.
Outdoor functionality
Functional innovation extends to the aft of the vessel, which features a fully-equipped, ready-to-enjoy beach area. This space is designed for seamless interaction with the water, incorporating ingenious storage and management solutions for tenders and numerous water toys.
With a beam of 6.80 meters and a shallow draft of just 1.35 meters, the AB 95S can access secluded coastal areas and shallow waters that remain unreachable for other yachts in its class. Boasting a range of approximately 440 nautical miles at cruising speed and a RINA classification for unrestricted pleasure navigation, this model takes the pleasure of yachting to the next level by blending Italian craftsmanship with the most advanced marine engineering available today.
