Maiora Yachts launched first M|30 ahead of Cannes debut

Maiora launched its first 30.4-metre M|30 superyacht in Viareggio, setting the stage for her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The first unit of the M|30 line by Maiora, part of the NEXT Yacht Group, was recently launched at the builder’s facilities in Viareggio, Italy, in the presence of the owner and his family. The ceremony marks the official debut of the Italian shipyard’s new M series—initially unveiled late last year—with the 30.4-metre superyacht scheduled to make her public premiere at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

Designed as an evolution of the successful Maiora 30, this new project refines its predecessor’s strengths by introducing refreshed exterior lines, expanded guest areas, and a more seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The vessel represents the third collaboration between Maiora, exterior design studio Quartostile, and interior specialists Acube working alongside the Maiora Style Centre, following their joint work on the M|36 and the refit of the 36 Exuma.

The yacht is distinguished by a sleek, coupe-inspired profile, a full-beam bow, and extensive glazed surfaces that create the signature lateral light profile defining the M series. Key design features include continuous walkaround side decks, an enlarged aft beach area, and a main cockpit configured as an expansive waterfront lounge.

Spanning three decks with a beam of 7.5 metres, the layout offers five guest cabins (highlighted by a main-deck, full-beam owner’s suite) accommodating up to 12 guests, while separate crew quarters comprise three cabins for a team of five. Power is supplied by twin 2,000hp MAN V12 engines delivering a top speed of 21 knots. The M|30 is already proving to be a commercial success for the shipyard, with four additional units sold prior to the flagship vessel’s official public debut.
