Cosmos Nautical Training Centre: Global standards in high-technology training

Cosmos Nautical Training Centre provides high-technology simulation training and accredited certifications to elevate global maritime safety and competence.

Located in Piraeus and Chios, the Cosmos Nautical Training Centre serves as a fully equipped maritime training facility dedicated to advancing the skills, knowledge, and safety standards of seafarers and shipping personnel. To meet modern maritime requirements, the institution utilizes advanced simulation technology to facilitate both training and professional evaluation. Its current technical infrastructure includes a full-mission bridge and maneuvering simulator, alongside dedicated simulators for engine room operations, GMDSS communication, and cargo handling. These systems are designed to test and improve professional capabilities by exposing masters and mates to various operational environments and emergency scenarios.

In addition to standard training programs, the center conducts specialized refresher courses for pilots operating in the Port of Piraeus and the Port of Lagos, Nigeria. The facility maintains accreditation from Transport Malta, the Cyprus Maritime Authority, and The Nautical Institute, and it operates as a Transas Approved Centre through the Get-net systems framework. Furthermore, its quality management system is certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance under the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

The STCW certificates issued by the Cosmos Nautical Training Centre are officially recognized across all European Union member states. These qualifications also receive endorsements from major global flag administrations, including Panama, The Bahamas, Liberia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Honduras, and the Marshall Islands.
