Spain: a strategic market for 2026. Refit, growth and consolidation at the heart of the Company’s presence in Palma.
Boero Yacht Coatings is taking part in the Palma International Boat Show, scheduled from 29 April to 2 May, reaffirming its presence in the Mediterranean market and its direct dialogue with shipyards, industry operators and captains. Within the cluster stand (booth F5), shared with ETY, Marina Vela, Marcelo Penna Yacht Design and Barcelona Nautic Center, Boero Yacht Coatings is presenting ChallengerPRO, the finishing system from its premium range, featuring a wide variety of finishes and designed to ensure aesthetic quality and long-lasting durability. Complementing this is a selection of underwater hull solutions and painting systems including the Magellan, Giraglia and Altura AF lines, together with the Mistral Fondo and Defender primers.
Participation in the show is part of a broader strategy that sees Spain as one of the company’s key markets for 2026. In this region, Boero Yacht Coatings holds a market share of more than 10% and has built a strong and steadily growing presence over the years, thanks also to its partnerships with Pintauto, Pintomax and La Moderna, the company is now one of the leading players in the sector. The Company’s presence in Palma therefore becomes an opportunity to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities, particularly in the refit segment, which is becoming increasingly central to the dynamics of the local market. In this area, the company is further strengthening its presence through the consolidation of its distribution network, the expansion of its professional customer base and the introduction of new service solutions in the area, including the installation of two new ChallengerMIX tinting machines.
The latter is Boero Yacht Coatings’ platform that enables the creation of an extremely wide range of color shades (including custom finishes) while ensuring high technical standards in terms of coverage, color stability, and resistance in marine environments. ChallengerMIX is developed as an integral part of the coating system: this means that color is not merely an aesthetic component, but an element that contributes to the overall performance of the coating. Thanks to its precision and repeatability, the system allows for the management of complex projects such as custom liveries or highly specific refits ensuring color consistency and application quality on a large scale.
Among the elements accompanying the company’s internationalization strategy is also the path of technical collaboration with Ferrari Hypersail, reflecting a shared vision focused on performance, research and the transfer of know-how between highly specialized sectors. During the show, on 29 April, the stand will also host an informal meeting with clients and partners, featuring networking moments organized within the cluster and in collaboration with the local distributor Pintauto.
