Baglietto delivers first 60m T60 superyacht ahead of Monaco debut

Baglietto Delivers the First T60 Unit, strengthening its strategy in the large yacht segment. Hull No. 10260 is the first of three 60-metre yachts already sold and under construction at the La Spezia shipyard.

Baglietto has delivered the first T60, the largest yacht ever built by the shipyard in its 172-year history. Hull No. 10260, by Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also designed the interiors together with Margherita Casprini, marks a significant milestone for the shipyard. Not only does it introduce a new 60-metre platform, but it is also the first of three yachts in the line already sold and currently under construction, with deliveries scheduled over the next two years, confirming both the project’s commercial success and Baglietto’s strengthening position in the large yacht segment. The T60 represents a key milestone in the shipyard’s growth strategy, aimed at reinforcing its position at the very top end of the international yachting market. This strategy is reflected in targeted investments, the development of new expertise, and the gradual expansion of production capacity, enabling the shipyard to meet the growing demand for larger yachts.

In recent years, Baglietto has launched a major industrial development plan involving investments of approximately €25 million by 2030 to expand its production facilities, drive technological innovation, and strengthen its know-how. The plan includes the enlargement of production areas, the construction of new offices and industrial buildings, and the roofing of a significant waterfront outfitting area. This growth path will continue with the development of projects in the large yacht segment up to 75 metres, further confirming the shipyard’s ambition to consolidate its position among the world’s leading yacht builders. With an overall length of 60 metres and a gross tonnage of 1,100 GT, the T60 reinterprets Baglietto’s traditional design through an even more contemporary approach. Its exterior retains the timeless elegance that has always distinguished the brand while introducing distinctive stylistic elements such as the visually lighter, seemingly suspended hull sides and the continuous black-glass band integrating the portholes, now a defining feature of Baglietto’s latest family feeling.

Innovation continues in the yacht’s layout, conceived to blur the traditional boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. The full-height glazing of both the main salon and the upper deck, which can be fully opened, transforms these areas into a single environment in constant dialogue with the sea. The beach area, main salon and dining room combine to create a spectacular two-level living space, enhanced by a 60-square-metre beach lounge featuring a swimming pool, gym, bar and conversation area.

Among the most innovative features of this first hull is the entire upper deck, dedicated exclusively to the Owner and conceived as a true Owners’ Deck. The owner’s suite includes a private office, walk-in wardrobe and two spacious en-suite bathrooms, while large opening windows on three sides provide direct access to the private forward pool equipped with a counter-current swimming system. Aft, an outdoor lounge, dining area and Jacuzzi complete an entire deck devoted to privacy and comfort. Guest accommodation comprises four guest cabins on the main deck and a fifth guest cabin on the lower deck, together with a professional galley and a fully equipped wellness area featuring a real SPA area including a massage room, a sauna and hammam. Crew quarters accommodate up to thirteen people. The sun deck hosts the wheelhouse, the Captain’s cabin, additional lounge and sunbathing areas, while the garage can accommodate a 23-foot tender, two jet skis and a rescue tender. The yacht also features a touch-and-go helicopter landing platform. The T60 is powered by two CAT 3512 engines, delivering a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

“The delivery of the first T60 represents a milestone in Baglietto’s history-comments Diego Michele Deprati, Chief Executive Officer of Baglietto – not only does it mark the completion of the largest yacht ever built by our shipyard, but it also represents the achievement of a strategic objective that we have pursued with determination over recent years. The fact that this is the first of three 60-metre yachts already sold and currently under construction demonstrates the confidence that owners and the market place in our vision and in our ability to deliver increasingly ambitious projects. Our planned investments, the expansion of our production facilities and the recruitment of new professionals all reflect a clear industrial strategy focused on sustainable growth and on establishing Baglietto among the leading players at the very top end of the market, for which we are already developing new projects”.

The yacht will be on display as a worldwide premiere at the next Monaco yacht Show taking place from September 23 to 26.
