The new flagship of Azimut won the Special Jury Award at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 for groundbreaking innovation.
Grande 44M, Azimut’s new flagship, made its debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival by winning the Special Jury Award at the Innovation Route Awards, the prestigious recognition assigned by the French boat show to the most significant and visionary solutions in international yachting.
In explaining its decision, the jury wished to acknowledge not only the qualities of the project and the brand, but also Grande 44M’s ability to concentrate, within a single yacht, a set of concrete innovations destined to leave a lasting mark. Grande 44M stands out for its capacity to integrate multiple efficiency‑oriented solutions, highlighting in particular the significant reduction in fuel consumption for a yacht in this size segment. A technological and design synthesis that, according to the jury, introduces “a new approach in the large‑yacht segment”.
Grande 44M features a groundbreaking four‑deck architecture made possible by the extensive use of carbon fiber, which lightens the superstructure and unlocks unprecedented volumes, including an entire Upper Deck dedicated to the owner. At the stern, the Mezzanine Deck with Sea View Terrace and the new See‑Through Pool enhance the visual connection with the sea, transforming the beach club into an immersive experience.
On the technological front, the yacht integrates several cutting‑edge solutions: the carbon Hull Vane® foil reduces drag and pitch, the Dual Mode hull optimizes efficiency and comfort across the entire speed range, while 30 m² of solar panels support the hotel load. The Mild Hybrid system, with a battery room up to 230 kWh, enables extended zero‑emission, silent anchoring, revolutionizing onboard comfort.
With a reduction in CO₂ emissions of up to 30% compared to yachts of similar size, Grande 44M confirms its role as the manifesto of Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht fleet and a milestone in the brand’s sustainable visioifn.
