Aeon: The 60-Meter Yacht Concept by Aeri Studio

Parisian firm Aeri Studio has unveiled Aeon, a sculptural 60-meter superyacht concept blending Japanese-inspired interiors with dynamic, stepped exterior terraces.

The young Parisian design firm Aeri Studio has recently introduced its latest project, Aeon, a striking new 60-meter motor yacht concept. The interior spaces of this vessel draw direct inspiration from Sumi-e, the traditional Japanese art of ink painting. To cultivate a peaceful and meditative ambiance on board, the living areas feature hand-painted panels and highly refined materials, where light woods and cream-colored furniture contrast elegantly with rich, warm brown leathers.

According to studio founder Julien Cadro, this serene interior atmosphere was deliberately crafted to mirror the fluid lines of the exterior. He emphasizes that the concept does not depend on sheer size to command attention, but instead showcases how precise proportions, sculpted surfaces, and architectural layering can give a vessel a powerful visual identity and distinct character.

Projected to feature an expansive 10.5-meter beam and an internal volume exceeding 500GT, Aeon is envisioned as a unified, sculptural form. Its exterior is defined by a sleek hull that flows seamlessly from bow to stern, with taut lines tapering toward the aft to give the yacht a highly dynamic silhouette even when sitting still at anchor. The superstructure mirrors this design language, with each deck progressively recessed from the one below it.

This stepped architecture creates expansive outdoor terraces that promote open movement and a deep connection to the surrounding marine environment. The design is currently prepared for further development alongside shipyards and new-build brokers.

Maximizing flexibility and safeguarding owner privacy serve as the core pillars of the Aeon concept. The layout can accommodate various configurations, offering eight crew cabins, five or six guest staterooms, and numerous spaces dedicated to lifestyle and entertainment.

One specific arrangement features an entire private deck dedicated exclusively to the owner—complete with its own jacuzzi and outdoor relaxation zones—a luxury typically reserved for much larger vessels. Furthermore, a substantial pool is integrated directly into the foredeck, while the aft deck boasts an open discussion pit filled with social lounge seating that connects straight into a sheltered wellness area.

This project follows Aeri Studio’s debut of Glide earlier this year, a 42-meter motor yacht concept. With Glide, the Parisian firm initially challenged traditional superyacht layouts by introducing a philosophy of radical openness and a deeply human-centric approach to onboard living, a vision they have now expanded upon with the grander scale of the Aeon.
