Winch Design is thrilled to report the successful hull turning of M/Y Sparta, marking the occasion with the release of two new renders of this extraordinary superyacht.
This significant landmark follows on from the keel laying in October 2020 and represents the beginning of the engineering fit-out. At 67m, she will be the largest steel-hulled displacement yacht ever built at Heesen and features both exterior and interior design by Winch Design, with project management by Arcon Yachts.
The elegant sheer line of Sparta connects a strong bow to an inviting transom, characterised by a stepped aft deck area with a five-metre infinity pool. Indoor and outdoor spaces connect harmoniously and create the perfect haven for relaxed family living. Onboard, she houses an off-center spiral staircase with glass elevator that links all three decks, the lower of which will feature a walk-in wellness area with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym, as well as the crew quarters where there’s space for 16 staff. The main deck has an expansive full-beam salon, rare on a vessel of this size, and four guest suites. There’s room for 12 guests in total, with the entire bridge deck being dedicated to the Owner.
Her Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), devised by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, combined with a sleek, sporty design by Winch and optimized building methodology by Heesen, will ensure that Sparta truly raises the bar with regards to performance and efficiency, once delivered in the Spring of 2023.
