Heesen sells 59m custom superyacht, Project SkyFall

This morning Heesen was thrilled to break the news of the sale of a full-custom yacht: Project SkyFall.

Due for delivery in spring 2023, she is a 59m FDHF all-aluminium motor yacht that will harness a formidable 22,000 horsepower and reach a thunderous top speed of 37 knots – an impressive feat considering her luxurious volume of 900 GT.

The owner – an expert yachtsman and keen angler – appointed Omega Architects to design SkyFall’s striking profile. Exuding power and speed in every detail, she has an aggressive paint scheme reminiscent of sinews straining to be unleashed and a fishing cockpit located at the stern.

Heesen also unveiled its newest design concept, Project Akira. With exteriors by Omega Architects and interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, she boats a rapid top speed of 22 knots and volume of 780 GT.

Poised for action, Akira’s beauty lies in her elegant and contemporary design combined with an animalistic fierceness. The overall visual effect is that of a leaping animal, with the brow of the wheelhouse creating an aesthetic “reminiscent of a shark’s head”.
